Happy 4th of July everyone! Vuitton here with a quick recap of who ranked where on our list of who’s who before you all celebrate the day with friends and family. The stars were out for pre-Independence celebrations, at movie premieres and parties. But who looked hot and who left us scratching our heads? Let’s take a look!
First up is Selita Ebanks, who came to show her love and support to Lisa Price, owner of Carol’s Daughter, at her Pop Up Shop Opening in New Orleans…
She wore a nude safari shirt with matching shorts and peep toe leopard print booties. I loved the outfit. Very chic and perfect for this summer heat.
Trey Songz was also in the building to show his support…
The crooner kept things simple with a basic white v-neck, khakis, brown sneakers and fly sunglasses. Despite the simplicity of the outfit, its cool factor was definitely through the roof. Two thumbs up!
Mary J. Blige wasn’t too far, as she joined in on the celebrations…
She wore a white, scoop neck blouse with denim short and cute white sandals. And can we ogle over that Hermes belt for a minute? *le sigh* Very cute look for Ms. Blige. Hot!
Adrienne Bailon showed face at Heineken’s Red Star Presents G.O.O.D. Music event…
The actress/singer wore a black semi-sheer pencil dress, a barrage of necklaces and fierce peep-toe pumps. While I loved the ensemble, and the semi untamed mane, why the black? Hmm… it looked more like she was going to church than a fun music event. Perfect outfit for the wrong occasion in my opinion.
Tyrese hosted an after party for a screening of his latest flick, Transformers: Dark of the Moon…
And Tyrese was clearly not going to be upstaged. He wore a gray blazer with black leather lapels, black tee, black tapered trousers and black boots. And suffice it to say, he looked fly! A run-by on that blazer is a must!
Estelle was in Southampton over the weekend to perform at a party…
The British Bombshell wore a lovely printed asymmetric silk dress, belted at the waist, with nude peep-toe slingbacks. The dress was the perfect length for the event and for her to move around as she performed. And the choice of accessories was spot on. Hot!
Singer/producer Ryan Leslie was spotted at DraftFCB’s Black Employee Network Event…
I looked at his ‘fit and thought to myself, “Did someone fire his stylist?” Ryan Leslie usually doesn’t disappoint sartorially, but he did this go ’round. He wore a pin stripe suit (which is such a heavy look for so carefree a season), and the suit was ill-fitting, might I add. Hmm… if the suit was tapered to his body a bit more, it could have saved him from drowning in all that fabric.
And lastly Kelly Rowland popped up at Nobu in London rocking a Helmut Lang blazer, Sandro tee, Acne shorts, Giuseppe Zanotti boots, Erickson Beamon accessories, and a Fendi bag. The look is simply chic. Hot!

Everyone looks aight…Mary looks a little ummmm…no. Sorry…the hair matched with the severely tight shorts is a no go for me. Kelly’s suit is nice but I realise she has a big shoe/bootie/boots thing going on when she wears her short stuff…and honestly, its not cute.

Adrienne Bailon is working that hair! Her outfit looks good, but maybe another color would’ve been more approps. Mary looks like somebody’s old ass auntie still trying to be cool and kick it. I cannot cosign the booty shorts or that hood thigh tattoo. Can someone say laser removal??? I love Estelle’s dress, not crazy about the shoes. Ryan Leslie looks old and tired, he must need a vacation. Kelly looks cute, but I’m over the booties in summer.

For fear of being redundant…
1. Kelly’s horrible wigs and clunky shoes are killing me softly. Her overall fabulousness is no longer compensating for the killer combo
2. I would have liked to see a pop of color somewhere in Selita’s outfit
3. Adrienne looks like she’s going to a funeral and she needs to tame that mane
4. Mary always looks like a classless ghetto trollop. She’s like a walking warning for thinking twice before getting tattoos
