Noisettes frontwoman Shingai Shoniwa hit up the Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Awards at London Hilton taking everyone to church in a large hat, delectably light white top, and navy shorts:

She completed her look with perforated white low heeled pumps and a purple bag:

Usually I’m on team Shoniwa, but this look seems disjointed and out of place. Absolutely noone else was wearing a large hat, which means she dusted off her topper to make a splash. Then again, can’t fault a girl for stepping outside of the box!
What say you?
Check out what a few other people wore:

Shingai Shoniwa usually looks good! I don’t understand what is going on with this look. Better luck next time.

Everyone has an off day and this made up for about 6 of hers. Nothing about this look is good. The hat, the tunic, the navy shorts, the low granny heels? Huh? The only thing I can co-sign is the cute little purple handbag…

I actually like the look, the hat is a bit over board but I think I understand what she was going for, sort of feminine and classic in an off beat way. I would wear it.

Hell no!! Not feeling this look at all. Did she get inspiration from the Kentucky Derby. Not cute. By the way, I loathe the shoes.

This look would have better with a smaller hat or no hat at all!

if she had worn a different hat and shoes the outfit probably would’ve been improved.
