• Here’s something you don’t see like, ever! The New York Daily News has a street style piece featuring fashionistas shopping on Fordham Road in (I can’t believe I’m saying this) The Bronx. This is a rarity, as most street style subjects are photographed in Manhattan or some woefully hipster-tastic part of Brooklyn. As a proud resident of The Bronx, it’s nice to see The X on the come-up! Just don’t tell the hipsters, else there will be mass gentrification faster than you can grow an ironic mustache. (NYDN)
• Rent the Runway, a Fashion Bomb favorite, is partnering with Lancôme to sell select makeup products on their website. So after you rent that Stella McCartney gown, you can add a complimentary lipstick to your cart. And no, you will not be able to rent makeup… because that’s just gross! (Fashionista)
• Designer Hussein Chalayan, whose frocks have been worn by the likes of Rihanna and Michelle Obama, says one of his biggest regrets is not working with Tom Ford. “I was devastated. Tom doesn’t even know that. He told me I was too avant-garde. I thought ‘Tom you are so wrong.” Ford is an amazing designer, but after losing him, Chalayan worked with Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen instead. So really, I can’t understand what he’s so broken up about. (Stylelist)
•Want an ‘it’ bag but don’t have an older superstar sister to buy 25 of them for your birthday? Try copping a Thursday Friday tote bag with a very real-looking screen print of one of Miu Miu‘s popular leather shoulder bags. The best part? No one will steal it. (Refinery29)
• Naomi Campbell will be featured in Givenchy‘s fall ad campaign sitting on a printed cushion, roaring for the camera. This should be interesting. (WWD)
• In anticipation for the movie The Smurfs (in theaters July 29th) Harper’s Bazaar outfitted film star Smurfette in Dolce & Gabbana, Lanvin, and Marc Jacobs. Hmm, can’t decide if this is super cute or oddly creepy. (Harper’s Bazaar)

That says something about the content of these street style blogs, alot of what I’m seeing is starting to feel a bit manufactured. The need to cover new space will a breath of fresh air! There’s style beyond Manhattan lol. Good post Jihan :)

That is a milestone for NY Daily News, them as well as other newspapers, mags, blogs normally focus in on the obvious—Soho, East Village, etc. Happy to that they finally branched out beyond the 6 train in the city ;o)

If that is the style we have to go by, I can see why they aren’t all up and through the Bronx snapping pics. This is a snooze fest. LOL at the screen print bag, they need to do that with a Birkin.

YAY for the Bronx (born and raised)!!! But the second chick with the Marc Jacobs tote was very unnecessary for the article. Thanks to the NYDN for repping, though!!

thats good they focus on the Bronx. Now if they can get better entertainment and events to come to the Bronx like they do in Brooklyn, that would be even greater.

Ultimately pack and finalize most of the items, a minumum of one day prior to the moving date
and just keep only the necessities example (Kitchen utilities ) aside, therefore you should then simply have a couple of
boxes to pack on the moving day. Take into consideration that one tiny mistake or
omission could land the buyer in hot water, if not now,
then down the road. The action-packed occasion is coming to Dallas for the first time Thursday, and
