Ah Michele. You sound like my kind of gal. Not one to sidle to the safe (and predictable) LBD, you want to shine and stand apart from the crowd. The rules are: Don’t look like you’re trying too hard in a frothy confection more suited for a black tie gala (or a too tight dress more appropriate for the club!). Do wear something flattering in a color that pops, played up by statement accessories.

I love the Catherine Maladrino dress. Simple and sophisticated, yet youthful and fun at the same time. The color is gorgeous, too. With a subtle jewlery and a bright lipcolor, you can’t go wrong with this one.
