Kick off the unofficial start of summer this weekend with a cool coral lip! The peachy-pink color looks great on a variety of skin tones and just screams summer. Wear it with little else on the face like some bronzer, a coral blush and black liner. Go full-on with the color and wear it with a contrasting eye color like green shadow or liner. Or get really punchy and pair your coral lip with bright pink tones in shadow and blush.

Absolutely! I’ve actually been into this as a summer lip since last summer, but could never find the right shade.
Since my brown skin is such a ‘heartbreaking reality’ (sideye, Jezebel), the colors wouldn’t come up as vibrantly on my skin.
I did get a YSL color, but also went to Ricky’s and found something perfect for 10$.
So as a suggestion, I’d like to add YSL Rouge Pur in Indian Summer and Mattese Elite in ‘Swinger.’ to your list!

Anyway, I love a coral lip. I’d also add YSL, Rouge Pur in Indian Summer and Ricky’s Mattese Elite in Swinger, which is a steal at only 10$ (a warning, it’s bright orange in the tube but looks great on).

Hey I recently bought Mac’s See Sheer. Its a great shear coral. Top it off with the cremesheen glass “richer, lusher” and you’ll be good to go!!

Yes! That Vegas Volt is the TRUTH! It looks soooo good on me w/ either Cork or Hodgepode lip liner. ALso a pretty orangy drug store shade is Siren by Revlon. I walked into MAC today (yes I’m addicted) and the MUA asked which one of “our” shades is that? I proudly stated that it was actually Revlon’s Siren and she nodded approvingly, LOL.
