Memorial Day is this weekend, and what better way to honor those who have died in the fight for our freedom than to look fabulous at an outdoor barbecue?
Small cross-body bags are perfect for the warm months to hold all your essentials. Keep them light– save the dark colors for when the weather starts getting chilly. Also, take this opportunity (while we’re in between seasons) to rock a coral or orange nail color, which is slated to be hot this summer.
You can opt for Americana with a simple t-shirt (with a twist), skirt, and classic accessories, but spice up the outfit with an eye-catching purse.
Make sure you wear shoes that offer lots of support like flats or platforms. Because who wants their heels sinking into the dirt when they’re trying to eat a hot dog?

hey @ddsweet, @binks, it was kind of a sarcastic sentence commenting on how holidays like Memorial Day and Veteran’s day have turned into BBQ and special sale holidays, rather than what they were put in place for.
