Ciara worked the red carpet for the New York premiere of Hangover 2 in a Cushnie Et Ochs Pre-Fall 2011 RTW Short Sleeve Asymmetric Dress and Christian Louboutin platform Daffodile pumps:
She made the look pop with a matching white mani, stacked gold bangles, and diamond shaped gold earrings.
I want to love the look, but the asymmetrical train reminds me a bit of a sheet. Her body is banging though!
* On an unrelated note…as much as celebs flex in these shoes, I just can’t get with them:
They always look unwieldy and uneccesarily clunky. What do you think?

I like it! The back is kind of meh…. But I like the white and the nude! maybe if they draped the train in a diff way so it didn’t look like a bath towel. other than that… Its hot.

It look like a tight long white tee that someone cut and hemmed in the front. It would have been nicer without the train. Yet, her make-up an her are on point. She been dressing better and better lately this is a snag I hope.

meh, i dont particularly like the dress, the train looks awkward. and i agree with a pp and would have like to see a softer shoe or less of a platform.

Im ok with the dress although I don’t like the train. Matter of fact, that could be completely removed from the dress! I would have loved the shoes in another color or print (python for example). Her body is bad and this dress does nothing for her.

the dress would’ve looked better without the train. and i agree about the daffodils. they are some huge, clunky, unattractive shoes. i hope its a passing fad, because no one looks good in them and they really don’t even look functional.

I love trains outta nowhere; I think it looks hot! This is one of those things IMO that you either like or you dont (hi-low hems, trains on “casual” clothing)…

Her make up is beautiful, the hair I don’t like, the train has derailed the look, and I have said it before, these shoes are dumb. They look like an updated version of the goldish platforms of the 70′s.

There is nothing special about the dress!! As for the shoes for me they don’t look right paired with that long train of a dress. The daffodills are a serious shoe to pull off and clearly with the right outfit..

Felt the dress was sort of plain, even train doesn’t do anything for it. Love Ciara but she could have done better. And Clair, I thought I was the only one who felt that way about those shoes… I don’t get them.

I do not like the dress, the ‘train’ is there for naught. And her hair seems off. The blond bits and black bits are not from the same woman’s head, and the bangs start from too far back. Also the black parts look very dry. Also not feeling the shoes, but to say at least ONE good thing, the colour white does look good on her.

The tail is a joke and looks like a wrinkled bed sheet. The front is rather blah. The shoes look downright painful. Visible bones in the feet from insane shoes= not sexy.

I’m not feeling it, she always wears things to show off her body(which is fabulous) but her styling needs help. Beautiful girl but she needs to work on the fashion a tad bit.

The dress is average, not good not bad.
I will say, though, that I absolutely HATE those shoes. I don’t know what it is, but they seem so big! The Versace platforms have the wood tones and cutouts which lightens them up (and makes them fab), but these are just too clunky.
They make everyones feet look big, especially the short curvy girls like Kim K.
