I love the fashion, but the video didn’t make me a fan of the song.
Like commenter “Nia” above, do you know who made the shoes she wore with the Norma Kamali Fringe Shorts look? They look like a version of the Louboutin Fringe Boots that were super popular a few years ago… I loved those shoes.

I must say that I wasn’t too thrilled with the song or the video. I love the clothes (fashion is my life) everything was displayed beautifully. It was very cliche the video in perspective. It just wasn’t the greatest but I hope it grows on me …. because you know bey is known for that awkward songs in the beginning and bangers at the end.

I watched it mute too…lol….clothes love them..but the context of the clothes and the story don’t work,except the gareth pugh look.the dancing should be left for the dancers,she looked a little too too,
she is a great dancer but I felt she did to much of it.maybe because the song sucks,she pumped the dancing up..and yes, too many gaga references.

I am totally underwhelmed by this song (every time they play it on the radio, at first I think it’s gonna be Major Lazer and I get disappointed when it’s just this). However, I’m quite sure that, like all other Beyonce songs, this ish will slowly grow on me. In about 3 months I’ll know all the choreography.

The song gets two Rick James thumbs down from me. While I think she’s really beautiful, can sing and looks good in the video, I think artistes today put too much emphasis on the aesthetic rather than the quality of music. Video killed the radio star indeed.

@Monica L, what about people who are normal citizens with important JOBS? Do doctors, nurses, social workers, soldiers, etc not put in work and positively influence people’s lives? I beg to differ that “no one living” can compare. I think that is more important than the people in Hollywood who get paid tons of money for being entertainers. I LOVED the video, and it was totally worth the wait. Though Bey can do no wrong, the videos she put out for her last album never really told the story behind her song: it was just a lot of dancing and a lot of black and white. She definitely stepped it up this time. Go, Bey! But poor Kelly! She must’ve thought her time had finally come out with this “Motivation” song. Mm mm mm! Bey just killed those dreams! lol

Was It just me? but…I think the TEASER was better than the real video. Fashion was okay. I wouldn’t say mind blowing, more so than anything I see the slight change in Beyonc’e. I’m a huge fan and she will have to grow on me like always but when she do she stick like B to Honey! I think the single was like a Diva track ( not stong for a single but because she is Beyonc’e she can put out things that isn’t what we choose). I was told her video was created by 5 different choreographer and it shows ( all over the place) I heard the video was going to be EPIC (unsure what people think epic is these days)…Just sayin!
