My mailbox has been blitzed the past few weeks with e-mails from publicists attempting to drum up excitement for the Royal Nuptials between Kate Middleton and Prince William.

Messages with the titles “The Royal Honeymoon! Kate Middleton’s Style File,” “Royal Wedding Bridal Shoes!”, and “Royal Wedding Celebration and Inspiration!” fill my inbox everyday. For some reason I’m just not that into it.

This apathy differs considerably from the public fascination with Princess Diana and Prince Charles back in 1981.
Apparently people woke up super early to watch Diana and Charles get hitched on TV. Can’t say I’ll be doing the same for Will and Kate tomorrow (I had to google when it’s going down–it’s scheduled for tomorrow at 6am EST).
I wish them the best (as I would any other couple), but I can’t relate to anything about their story, meeting, or marriage.
Now I would set my DVR for a broadcast of Jay-Z and Beyonce’s wedding (I know they’re already married, just hypothetically speaking).
It seems entertainers are the ‘royals’ of America–with merit. Beyonce’s songs bring a smile to my face. Jay-Z’s lyrics make me think, reflect, and dance. They add value in a concrete way. I’m not sure the royals do (But I’m not from the UK, so I’m only hypothesizing).
At any rate, what do you think?

April 28, 2011 11:43 am
Nope, don’t care. Couldn’t possibly care less. I’m just ready for them to get married so that I don’t hear about it everywhere I turn.
April 28, 2011 11:44 am
I love her outfits here. Oh and Prince Charles looks dashing in that picture. I don’t mind watching. Can’t say I’d stop getting ready for work at 6am to take it in, but my Mom would definitely be watching it, so I just might get a peek.
April 28, 2011 11:44 am
ABSOLUTELY NOT! I couldn’t care less, and frankly, all the “buzz” has become quite annoying. I wish them well, though.
April 28, 2011 11:45 am
Oh em gee, I am so tired of hearing about this wedding. We americans get on my nerves lol gas $10 a gallon and the media worried about a wedding and dont know either party. What’s with us americans infactuation with the royal family? I mean its like the world is going to shut down because they are getting married. Nothing personal against the couple but people need to get their priorities in order! That’s all. LOL
April 28, 2011 11:46 am
LOL Claire! She is just really a boring, boring Princess! I’m so sorry to say it!
April 28, 2011 11:50 am
~ I don’t want to take away from their special day, but I just don’t feel that oh so much major coverage needs to be done here in the U.S….you won’t catch me up at 3am watching the wedding, celebrating, or droppin any tears. Its a personal event that I wasn’t personally invited to…I’ll catch the pics of the dress on the blogs.
April 28, 2011 11:55 am
I’m from London and am telling u i won’t watch it *shoot me*cos i don’t give a shit about their royal rich arses throwing mega wedding when thousands of people are losing their jobs everyday. I’m a student and am going to end up with about ÂŁ30000 debts by the time i graduate bcs those rich people decided to rise the tuition fees to ÂŁ9000 a year. And i don’t understand the fuss about this, just like u said i really can’t relate to their stories or whatevs. Gimme a jay-bey wedding i’ll camp for them. In my eyes they’re real royalties cos they built their empires with their own sweat no some inherited fortunes tchiiiiiip!!!!!!!!!!!!!
April 28, 2011 12:02 pm
Lolz not at all.
April 28, 2011 12:07 pm
LOL I thought I was the only one who didn’t give a damn.
April 28, 2011 12:07 pm
I want to see her dress, that is about it.
But I think there is no fascination with THIS wedding (unlike Diana’s) because of the time period. We are in a recession, a gas crisis, ex. Most people are worried about their next meal, this is not important.
April 28, 2011 12:07 pm
I could care less….
April 28, 2011 12:09 pm
personally, i cant wait for this to be over. i’m sooooo over it!
April 28, 2011 12:17 pm
I’m sure the bloggers will have a recap for all of us.. Claire, will you have a post for us tomorrow? ;-)
April 28, 2011 12:18 pm
I agree w/ everybody else i could care less. Let me tell u why the “Royals” don’t do anything 4 me and they have not done anything for the people of England, U.K and around the globe.
My background is Caribbean and i refuse to give these people the time of day because they are responisble for slavery. The Queen’s ancestors invaded Africa stole men, women and children and brought them to the Caribbean and had them work as “slaves” in sugar plantations and sold them for very little. Also, she brought European pirates to steal gold, rum etc. and rewarded them with their own “slaves’.
I think it it important for people to learn “histpry” because these people are responsible for the world’s chaos. And why are British taxpayers spending a billion dollars on these “people” who own over 300 palaces around the world?
It is so sad that people are starving, and there is a war in the middle east and we focus on a family of free loafters.
People WAKE UP!!!

I will NOT be watching it the Queen owes my ancestors reparations. She stole everything from the Caribbean i could care less about the uppity “Royals”. Why are taxpayers spending a billion dollars on rich-aristocrat-monarch family who have over 300 palaces around the globe??
Why don’t people advertise world hunger or something?

I really want to see the dress !!
April 28, 2011 12:28 pm
I think the voting system is messed up. I don’t think it’s a historical event, but I do think it’s romantic and I’ll watch. It will be fun to see a real live prince fairy tale wedding! Plus she’s glowing! But I live in Europe so I won’t have to wake up early.
April 28, 2011 12:30 pm
I’ll check the websites when I wake up and I couldn’t care less about them, they are as boring as hell but more than 2 billion people give a damn, not as much as they care about the World Cup but definitely more than those who care about the Olympics.
April 28, 2011 12:33 pm
I cared enough to click the link that said “Nope. Zero interest” lol!
April 28, 2011 12:42 pm
It’s exciting because she’s becoming a Princess and that’s a dream for most. I think we could have heard less about it along the way but whatever..it’s now here and it’s something to look at. Hey if we watch Snooki, we can watch a royal wedding. Everyone that wont watch it are miserable people. yeah i said it..lol
April 28, 2011 12:55 pm
I LOVED PRINCESS DIANNA- THAT IS ALL
April 28, 2011 12:56 pm
I definitely don’t have plans to wake up that early, but I do want to see the dress.
April 28, 2011 12:57 pm
Just received this, “Hi Claire- I wanted to check in to see if you are doing any post coverage for the Royal Wedding? I can provide designer’s feedback/quotes (fashion, accessories, beauty and home) and items for get the looks. ” It never ends!!
April 28, 2011 12:58 pm
I’m sure that if anything slightly interesting happens I can catch the highlights on line or on tv. I’ll pass.
April 28, 2011 1:01 pm
No interest at all, let’s move on.
April 28, 2011 1:15 pm
I don’t want to waste my time…
April 28, 2011 1:21 pm
Ay yo this post gets funnier and funnier!
April 28, 2011 1:32 pm
Why should Claire do a post about this when it’s clear, the majority of us couln’t care less?
April 28, 2011 1:36 pm
Okay wait a minute who is Amele? Are people copying me?
April 28, 2011 1:38 pm
I could give a rat’s fuzzy behind about this wedding. seriously. the world is in turmoil, wars are breaking out everywhere, the country’s in upheaval and all they can cover on the news is this wedding? seriously? i wish them the same luck i wish any married couple but i’m so very tired of hearing about them at this point.
April 28, 2011 1:39 pm
of course it is a freaking big deal and of course I can’t expect Americans to understand the significance of a royal wedding in the modern age we are in. I would much have preferred it, if you didn’t do a post on the royal couple in such tasteless fashion! As a Brit reader, I’m pretty offended.
April 28, 2011 1:44 pm
@Joan S Instead of leaving an equally tasteless comment, why don’t you explain to us WHY you care? We Americans aren’t averse to enlightenment.
April 28, 2011 1:50 pm
They aren’t black so black America could care less. I’m from the Caribbean and I will be watching.
April 28, 2011 1:50 pm
Thanks for this post bc I was starting to think I was the ONLY person that doesn’t care!
April 28, 2011 1:55 pm
I’ll make it clear why I do care: Kate Middleton (future Queen of England) is from a middle class background and she is marrying a Prince now it has a huge significance because back in the day that was frowned upon.
Princesses are usually arranged or chosen by families etc. Kate Middleton has arguably changed people’s views on the Monarchy positively and that’s why it’s not only important it’s historic!
My point is if you’re so overwhelmed with emails about the Royal Wedding you shouldn’t do a post on it and if you’re going to do one quite simply make it a nice.
April 28, 2011 2:00 pm
This thought just came to me, maybe if she was black then black America would care!
April 28, 2011 2:06 pm
Nope! And honestly I wouldn’t wake up for a Beyonce/Jay wedding either. To me it isn’t that serious over people you don’t know. But I guess it is the way our society is today of people being so highly interested and living vicariously through people we think are “so high and mighty” when they are not at the end of the day…shrugs. Maybe I’ am a little bit jaded but a wedding is a wedding and a white dress is a white dress no matter who the bride happens to be
April 28, 2011 2:08 pm
@Joan S Thanks for the clarification. I’m not sure this post was mean (it wasn’t intended that way), it was just honest. I said I wasn’t interested. Since you’re interested, that just means we have a difference of opinion, which happens all the time.
And I haven’t posted anything related to the wedding or even answered the e-mails promoting it because I can’t relate. This is probably the only post I will ever write on it…unless Kate busts out with some crazy Lanvin dress. Then I’d do another post (maybe).
April 28, 2011 2:18 pm
really though? are we bringing ancestors into this now? i’m african and i dont blame every white person i see on the street for taking slaves from my country stealing our resources 100+ years ago! you know why? CAUSE THEIR ANCESTORS did it. its not like they had a say in it. people in the present didnt even EXIST at that time. imperialism is dead and gone, and those living in the royal family didnt really have much to do with it. so i dont get how this relates to two people falling in love and getting married. i go to school here in the UK and i have a lot of respect for the grace and dignity kate middleton has handled all the scrutinizing and attacking she’s gotten from the press throughout her time as williams girlfriend. and i think she deserves her fairytale. its historical and just as important if not way more than when chelsea clinton was getting married and it was a big deal to quite a few americans.
i can understand why people wouldnt be interested i mean fair enough. but still it doesnt make sense for people bring irrelevant arguments that dont relate to the topic at hand.
April 28, 2011 2:23 pm
Kate…crazy dress? Oxymoron. LOL!
And did she really just say we dont care because they arent Black? *deep sigh* How many of us watched LaLa and Melo’s wedding? Tip and Tiny???
I’m jesting here (a little) but really I dont think many ppl here are interested because we just arent interested in Kate (and her fashions!).
So the Royals have joined the rest of us in the modern age *applause* and back to sleep!
I for one, am tired of the celebrity voyeurism (lack of a better word, apologies)…keep something private, why dont cha! I almost feel like the are setting poor Wills and Kate up…likening them to Diana and Charles…dont we remember how that ended?!?!
April 28, 2011 2:27 pm
when did monarchy become cool? Nope I def don’t care and I’m sick of all the coverage.
April 28, 2011 2:46 pm
Hell no. And frankly I’m tired of hearing about it. Between that and the birther issue dominating the news, I haven’t been watching much television news lately.
April 28, 2011 2:56 pm
U Americans have no idea about the amount of hype that has been going on lately, I mean it has been crazy & inevitable from all media aspects. I am black of african & caribbean decent & I will be celebrating this royal wedding with my family (sisters, nephews, nieces brothers, mom & a few friends). After all its a public holiday & there’s no work 2moro for most of us. Yes this wedding is funded by the tax payer’s money & we tax payers are the ones who fund for the royals. But royals are what define Great Britain / United Kingdom, without royals its not Great Britain anymore, this is one of the unique elements that separates it from other countries. So many tourists travel from all over the world just to look @ Buckingham palce, take pictures, to look at those guards outside the palace, to buy royal souvenirs…etc. One substantial thing is that this wedding is expect to boost the UK’s economy which is a good aspect for our country, given that were just recovering from the recession. A lot of black folks in UK don’t give a fuck about this royal wedding though but oh well, I wanna capture history & be able to show & tell my children & grand children that I was there on 29th / 04 / 2011!
April 28, 2011 3:03 pm
@Claire okay I have to say it you have a kick ass sense of humour so let’s just conclude it’s a difference of opinion. I just often get sensitive as to how some Americans play the Royal Wedding down.
To me, it’s just as historic as Obama being the First Black US President. I’m glad I could shed some light on it though. It’s going to be an amazing atmosphere in London tomorrow!
Oh and Kate in Lanvin that’s very possible. She’s very quickly being a style icon here. Everything she wears sells out in minutes! NO JOKE
April 28, 2011 3:07 pm
@Doreenfaith I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU!
April 28, 2011 3:08 pm
Also, the correct way to say you don’t care about something is “couldn’t care less.” If you say you “could care less” you are saying that you do care some.
April 28, 2011 3:11 pm
I could personally care less, I can’t wait until the coverage of it is over. But at the same time I can see why there is interest: First, there is still an affection for Princess Diana, especially since she died in such a tragic way. The fact that her son is marrying someone who is similar to his mother’s background (she isn’t royalty) there is an added interest again in the fantasy. For some reason, some Americans really love the fantasy of what royalty is (although our foundation is rebelling against that monarchy, which is strange). 2nd: It serves as a distraction to all the terrible things going on in our country and abroad. Reporting sad news all the time can bring everyone down and this will be over with tomorrow. I hope.
April 28, 2011 3:11 pm
I actually just set my DVR to record the wedding (it’s airing live at 3 a.m.) I’m not interested so much in the ceremony or the couple, I want to see what they will be wearing and with DVR I can fast forward all the boring parts.
April 28, 2011 3:26 pm
I couldn’t care less and I live in a commonwealth country.
April 28, 2011 3:44 pm
I am sick of it I cant wait til its over with. Who care that they are getting married!! There are more pressing issues in the world.
April 28, 2011 4:10 pm
Purely entertainment for me. I will be watching :).
April 28, 2011 4:25 pm
I am sick of the coverage (the whole speculation on her dress, her shoes…. etc.) but I will definitely be watching! I’m excited to have the chance to watch a Royal Wedding, and see what everyone wears. I mean, most girls can only dream of having a fairy tale romance, and this has all the elements of it. And like some other posters have mentioned, there is a huge significance to William marrying a commoner. Just because she’s not black, doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t matter.
I also don’t see how the “ancestors” apply here, why do some blacks always feel the need to walk around with a chip on their shoulder that everything must come down to race? Should you really protest them because of something their ancestors did? I’m not even going to go into the implications of that kind of statement…
April 28, 2011 4:31 pm
HA 6 AM F’ That!
this is America!
theyre really not even that important. Parliament runs everything anyway..
April 28, 2011 4:47 pm
I second KJ. I’m utterly tired of turning on Entertainment Tonight and hearing Mary Hart and her minions conversing about the upcoming nuptials. Enough already!!!! Wake me when it’s over!!!! On the other hand though, I’d definitely wake up early to catch the baddest B and her boo get married! But the royals?! Child please, I have better things to do with my time–SLEEP
April 28, 2011 4:59 pm
I will definitely be up at 4am to catch the royal wedding. I will pass on bee and jays wedding any day I’m more into classy events. Lol
April 28, 2011 5:03 pm
I live in London/England and could give a $%*K! They don’t do anything for us, all I’m happy for, is the extra long weekend we get!
April 28, 2011 5:08 pm
Dont care, but good luck to the couple.
U guys get an extra long weekend in London?? Omg I’m in Canada they should give it us too, our gov became totally seperated from England in 1982! lol
April 28, 2011 5:15 pm
I completely agree, i have no interest. This already happened when Prince Charles married Princess Diana, I don’t wanna see a repeat in 2011.
April 28, 2011 5:49 pm
Not interested.
April 28, 2011 5:59 pm
I’ve tried my best to get the hype, just can’t! I don’t even see her as a princess, nothing appealing about her… I seriously couldn’t care less .
April 28, 2011 6:11 pm
I’m watching. I’m an Anglophile.
April 28, 2011 6:13 pm
I am happy for them but I wouldn’t break my neck to see them tie the knot. I wouldn’t break my neck to see Bey and Jay get married either. Its not that serious to me. According to statistics, more than likely both couples will probably get a divorce.
April 28, 2011 7:17 pm
Hell to the no…
April 28, 2011 7:19 pm
Am I setting my alarm at 4am? NO…The coverage is pretty insane. Did Obama get this much coverage? Not to mention our President got snubbed!
I am curious to see her dress and if her veil is gonna be as long as Princess Diana. I also want to see the hats but when I awake I’ll watch the recaps.
April 28, 2011 7:22 pm
I really could care less…it’s on the news everywhere and it’s so annoying! I’ll just be glad when it’s over with.
April 28, 2011 7:48 pm
I DONT CARE ABOUT THE ROYAL WEDDING BECAUSE HE HAS ALREADY CHEATED ON HER, JUST LIKE HIS FATHER DID HIS MOTHER. ITS PATHETIC! WHOEVER COMPARED THE WEDDING TO OBAMA BEING PRESIDENT, IS OBVIOUSLY IGNORANT. THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT MEANS A LOT MORE THAN A ROYAL WEDDING. OBAMA MADE HISTORY. THE ROYAL WEDDING MADE….NOTHING!
April 28, 2011 7:51 pm
JOAN IS CRAZY FOR SUCH AN IGNORANT COMMENT. OBAMA CHANGED HISTORY. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A BLACK PRESIDENT UNTIL NOW. THERE IS NO COMPARISON. BLACKS HAVE SHED TEARS AND BLOOD FOR THIS. MARTIN LUTHER KING DIED OVER THIS. THE ROYAL WEDDING DOES NOT COMPARE AND THE FACT THAT YOU SAID SUCH AN IGNORANT STATEMENT MAKES ME FEEL BAD FOR YOU AND YOUR IGNORANCE!
April 28, 2011 8:13 pm
im from the Caribbean an I WILL BE WATCHING…. Slavery sucked but it certainly brought my AFRICAN and my BRITISH ancestors to this amazing country i call home.. i still consider this apart of my heritage being from a commonwealth country… no matter if it was william & kate or my grannys pinky toe walking down that isle its an event… sit back an enjoy
April 28, 2011 8:29 pm
I do not care about this at all, and wish they would stop trying to make me care about it! So happy to see there are others who do not care about this, I was starting to wonder if something was off with me!
April 28, 2011 8:32 pm
whats funny to me is not one american got an invite ( correct me if i am wrong though lmbo)
April 28, 2011 9:03 pm
@lexyyyy I believe some american celebs are attending but Obama did not get an invite.
April 28, 2011 10:19 pm
Whenever they come on my TV screen, I switch the channel. I almost made it throughout the week without knowing when the actually wedding was until my stupid mother told me tomorrow was the “BIG DAY.” UGH!! Mom why? She has no interest in this wedding either!
I just want to see Bey preformed…on YOUTUBE. Tomorrow is Friday and I’m going to sleep in.
April 28, 2011 10:20 pm
Obama didn’t go because he didn’t want to over shine the couple.
April 29, 2011 2:26 am
When the UK elects a black or minority prime minister the I will get excited.
April 29, 2011 2:30 am
I think these two will be great humanitarians like Diana, but I don’t give a damn about this wedding NEXT!
April 29, 2011 2:49 am
@EyptianBella It’s beyond reasonable doubt that you are indeed ignorant and you’re the one that’s crazy! Don’t you dare speak about me rudely because of a difference of opinion. I have to say some of you who comment here are blonder than the next. Thank God I say TO ME! It’s my opinion… Gosh
April 29, 2011 7:36 am
Now the day has come only few hours there for royal wedding so people around the world will watch the wedding T.V. media will also awaiting to live royal wedding all over the world so all wish them to live lifelong together with one or two children.
April 29, 2011 8:11 am
No, who cares….being a brown woman how could I care about the people who enslaved us.
April 29, 2011 10:17 am
As americans we should probably be giving this coverage to expose things like:
*Public schools providing piss poor education
*High gas prices
*Political criminals robbing americans blind
*rates of blk men in prison, building of more prisons to house them and preparing these prisons based on the reading level of a 4th grade student
…and the list can go on and on. Our focus is way off.
April 29, 2011 10:22 am
@me i think it is important that black people do not forget about how we (meaning anyone with our skintone regardless of what country you are from) were treated.
For example, do you see the Jews letting anyone, especially thier families, forget about the holocaust?? Nope!
That’s what is wrong with the black race now, in some areas we are too forgiving and have forgotten way too much…thats why we hae been broken down so far.
April 29, 2011 10:57 am
Don’t care not even a little bit!
April 29, 2011 12:07 pm
Diana was royalty, she and Charles even share an ancestor. Kate is indeed a ‘normal’ girl, but she will be the (or one of the first, no I think the) first woman in the Windsor family to have an academic degree. That’s pretty sad, but then again, those people are rich so why would they learn something.
Anyhow, I do not think this is as epic as Obama’s victory, but it is a nice way to get some spirit again. Just pure romance. William marrying the woman he loves, and not like his father marrying a virgin and then still cheating on her with the woman he loves.
I think this lives more in Europe anyway. And also why would American people be invited? Because some of them came from England long ago? I fail to see the connection. Also Obama being there… eh no? Why? This is not England marrying a woman or something so the president of another country has to be present or something. These are just two people in love celebrating with their closest 1500(? :p) friends and family-members, whom LUCKILY are NOT related.
April 29, 2011 12:50 pm
on the same level as obama’s presidency? LMAO, i don’t think so. overcoming insitutional racism to become the first black president of a nation where about 40 years ago you would’ve legally been treated as subhuman? not on the same level as a royal wedding. sorry.
anyway i saw the wedding this afternoon, and it was beautiful but i never get up that early unless its for work, school, or an emergency.
April 29, 2011 2:15 pm
well we dont forgive you so bye
April 29, 2011 5:36 pm
I’m black-caribbean and from the UK. I worked today but managed to watch the wedding as the footage ran all day long- it was beautiful, really! Most people were simply excited to be part of history- the future king’s wedding. News is so grim these day so to have some love and hope is a blessed thing. In the UK, we are also grateful for the extra bank holiday- er hello anyone who then cusses about the wedding is a bloody hypocrite! I believe Obama (or any US president) would have greatly hightened the security risk so nothing personal there. And those who want to pull the slavery card, move on, while we hold onto the victim card and want special treatment, the jews are moving forward and using it to make their race stronger! Obama being the first black president- amazing but the fact his colour is highlighted so much when it shouldn’t be means we have a long way to go still..
April 30, 2011 11:14 am
sam, please. maybe it’s because you don’t live in the united states, but BLACK PEOPLE are not the ones who always bring obama’s race into it. maybe you haven’t checked the news recently but there is a large group, largely comprised of white people, who are questioning whether or not obama’s citizenship and his academic credentials, BECAUSE HE IS BLACK. no white president has ever had this kind of scrutiny and question of his merit based on his RACE. and don’t diminish the institutional racism in the u.s. by stating that black people want to play the victim card and want special treatment. newsflash, what black people, and hell every minority wants is to be on an EQUAL playing field with white men. please know what you’re talking about before you speak.
April 30, 2011 11:20 am
obama’s presidency, because he is ACTUALLY running the government, and because he is the first black president in a country that not too long ago legally discriminated against him, is more historic then two people who are part of a SYMBOLIC monarchy with no governmental power getting married.
April 30, 2011 8:48 pm
WOW! Where do I even start. First of all, I would like to say that I agree with the posts from Mari and Shellie Boo. Personally, I was VERY interested in the royal wedding, and for those who weren’t, that is totally fine but some of the comments up here seemed really rude.
I am a 22 year old African American female and I set my alarm for 3:50am to make sure I was able to catch all of the coverage. Growing up, I was never really into the Britich Monarchy until sadly the day that Princess Diana died. I didnt know who she was, but soon after, after watching the television specials and watching her funeral, I in a way “fell in love”. She was a beautiful person inside and out, and it was AMAZING to see how much she meant to people. She devoted her life to helping people and that in itself is VERY admirable. And then hearing about all of the bad things she endured (tabloids, a divorce, papparazi, etc.) made me feel for her that much more. And she always wanted to give her boys a normal life (as normal as she could being that they were royalty). So it was only fitting that her first born was going to get that chance, to meet and marry a woman whom he was actually in love with. I was just beautiful to see him get a chance at the life that she always wanted for him, and that she never got.
And lets not forget, this is history, wherever you live. Its WORLD history. My mother remembers watching Princess Diana get married (and used to tell me about that crazy long 25ft train, lol), so I was excited that I was able to witness a similar historical event. And for all of us (Americans) who grew up watching Disney movies and fairytales like that, this had that similar magic.
And with people talking about slavery and whatnot…I understand what you are saying, but at the same time, you can’t really blame the people that are living now. In that case you would probably run around mad at A LOT of white people. I would focus more of that anger on people who are actually racist and discriminating now in this day in age.
And last but not least, THIS IS A FASHION WEBSITE. If for nothing else, be excited about what everyone is going to wear. In my opinion, the wedding dress, uniforms, and guests hats and attire were nothing short of GREAT fashion.
Once again, if you werent interested, you just werent interested. But at least be repectful.

I’m late but I could care less. Im glad its over, now I can stop getting spammed in my everyday life. *sidenote* I would wake up and set the DVR for the Beyonce/Jay-Z wedding if they had chosen to broadcast it. Im sure that video is locked in a vault somewhere.

College sweethearts Billy and Katie got married. Groom wore his military uniform and bride wore a dress made by her friend. Reception was at his grandma’s house. They will live near the base where he is stationed. I’m from Texas…this sounds like most of the couples I know!
