Fashion Bomb men know what’s hot!
Both Diddy and Jamie Foxx were spied wearing one of the hottest items off Fall 2010 runways: Burberry Shearling Coats.

Diddy wore the brand’s Shearling Trim Jacket for an appearance at ITV studios in London, England with dark jeans, sensible shoes, and his signature sunglasses. Jamie chose to rock Burberry’s Shearling Trim Trench Coat for a performance on Good Morning America with gray suit pants and hard bottom shoes. Both jackets feature double collars, beige shearling trim, shoulder epaulets, and zip fronts.

Both coats are hot, but who wore Burberry better?

Thanks to Fashion Bomb Reader @LuvNevaFails808 for the tip!
Happy Friday Guys!
So today is a big day! I’m taping an interview on NPR with Michel Martin! I’m heading in this afternoon to talk about fashion blogging and what I plan to do during Fashion Week. We won’t be live (thankfully–phew!), but I’ll let you know how it goes–and when to tune in.
I’m off in a few, but had some time to solve just a few Mail Bombs. Let’s go!
First up is Alex who fell in love with Nicki Minaj’s pink pumps:

She said, “Where can I find these shoes?”
According to reader Brandon, Nicki was wearing these candy colored beauts by Walter Steiger:

The shoe, called the Molto, can be purchased at Walter Steiger boutiques. Find locations at www.waltersteiger.com.
Next, Natasha says, “I was wondering where I can find a jacket like Jazmine Sullivan in her 10 seconds video.”

Not sure how old the video in question is, but Jazmine is wearing a jacket from Balmain’s Spring 2009 collection:

Beyonce actually wore the same jacket two years ago.

If you still want to rock the style, who are we to stand in your way? Get the look with the options below:
Dorothy says, “I wanted to email y’all with a Mail Bomb about Khloe Kardashian’s dress from the recent People’s Choice Awards.”

“I love maxi dresses; it’s perfect for curvier/bigger girls but the look is usually so casual. Do you know where I can get an affordable chiffon option similar to the one Khloe’s wearing? Thanks so much!”
Sure! We found the following strapless sweetheart maxi dresses for ya:
In a wardrobe query, Erin says, “My birthday is coming up soon and I’m trying to do something bold and sexy like Kim or Cassie’s dresses!”

“I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg…got any ideas?”
Yup! Get shimmery, glittery, metallic looks with these fun mini dresses–all for less than $100:
Lastly, Shakiedra says, “I am desperately in need of your help. I’m in search of a cobalt blue pencil skirt to rock with my leopard pumps on my upcoming 30th bday. Please, Please, Please help me!”
Look fly for your birthday with these F Bomb certified cobalt options:
That does it today. I’m off to prepare for my interview!
Wish me luck:)
Smootches!

Guys, my head hurts. And it’s from shaking it SO hard from the recent news of reggae star Vybz Kartel not only bleaching his skin, but comparing it to suntanning.
According to a story posted on NecoleBitchie.com, the Jamaican star was quoted as saying,
“This is my new image. You can expect the unexpected. I feel comfortable with black people lightening their skin. They want a different look. It’s tantamount to white people getting a sun tan.”
Vybz claims his new skin tone is the result of using cake soap and is even planning to endorse his own kind, however the company that makes the soap denies his claims that their soap bleaches the skin. The company states, “Blue soap does not bleach. It has no ingredients in it that damages the skin. If anybody is saying that it will discolor the skin or take off pigmentation that is absolutely not true.”
It’s actually quite obvious he used something stronger than cake soap, which is used to cleanse and bathe the skin, to go from Shabba Ranks to Shaggy right before our eyes.
Excessively using bleaching creams that contain hydroquinone decreases the production of melanin which in turn makes the skin more susceptible to UV exposure which in turn is said to increase skin cancer risks. Long term hydroquinone usage is linked to a skin condition called ochronosis in which the skin becomes dark and thick.
So when is using skin lighteners ok?
Experts including the American Academy of Dermatology deem it effective in treating pigmentation issues and safe if used properly as in apply it no more than twice a day for no longer than six months. These same experts say hydroquinone has been used over the last 40 years, and there has not been a single documented case of either skin cancer or internal cancer associated with it.
Does this sway your opinion of using skin lighteners? What’s your take on using them?

Hey Guys!
So it’s been quite a week for Bombshells! We went from having comments to having none, and though it’s a tough transition, I think it’ll be for the best.
At any rate we’re closing out this Friday with Bombshell Naima from Maryland:

She says, ” I describe my style as flirty and sassy. I always try to keep it simple but fashionable with an accessory that makes my outfit pop.”

” From hair, to lip color, to eye shadows, to heels or just plain jewelry.. “

“…I love shopping on a budget..Urban Outfitters, Zara, H&M, Forever21, and Wet Seal just to name a few. You can still be fly on a budget… “

“Just add a touch of your own swag and there you have it A FASHION BOMB…. “

Pow.
What do you think of Naima from Maryland?
*Thanks Steph!

So Rihanna can be a budget fashionista!
Our favorite Bombshell attended last week’s Clippers vs. Heat game wearing a USA Flag Tee from Topshop (along with J Brand Hi Rise Jeans):

The $40 tee is made of machine washable sheer fabric, and features a fun photographic motif.
It doesn’t seem as if Madame Fenty is doing anything to put those Topshop collaboration rumors to rest. We can only hope her efforts are just as affordable as this choice.

If you want the tee, get it here.
