It didn’t take long for a few of our favorite celebs to debut a new hair trend for 2011!
Both Solange and Kim Kardashian were recently spied rocking revamped and renewed braided hairstyles:
Of course braids are not new and aren’t particularly ‘trendy’ for larger communities…but they haven’t been in style amongst celebs for decades.
Solange took it back to the 90′s with thick waist length braids, worn under a colorful turban. And Kim Kardashian gave us a little Bo Derrick with cornrows and shoulder length plaits.
I personally flipped my last braid around 1999, I don’t see myself ever going back. What about you?
