Some said Jessica White’s arrest would hurt her modeling career. But in fact she’s been securing more jobs (who would’a thunk it?). Her latest coup? Her own reality show on the Oxygen network (coincidentally home to the explosive Bad Girls Club):
Her lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, told the New York Post, “The show is based on her life and some of her colorful friends, almost like ‘Entourage.’ “
I do think I remember seeing Ms. White on Terrell Owens’s show (am I wrong?). From what I saw, she seems like the perfect fit for a modern reality show.
What do you think? Would you tune into a show featuring Ms. White?

I don’t even watch reality shows, and I’m sick of them. I know America loves them, and people are going to keep getting them as a result. But, whatever happened to celebrities trying to become household names b/c of what they actually chose as a career? You know, models becoming household names b/c of all the modeling they do…singers b/c of all their singing…etc. Meanwhile, we get remake after remake of subpar fictional TV shows and movies.
Good for another black woman getting her own show…there’s always that…but I don’t know many reality shows that portray people in a good light.

Oh no, she needs to have a seat! She was on the T.O. show acting like she was Tyra Banks telling people to ‘google her’ if they didn’t know who she was, please! She doesn’t seem all that interesting and her outfits are never on point. The only reason I’ll tune in is to watch her go up in flames…NEXT!

I’m looking forward to this. I met Jessica at an event in ATL last year and she’s a doll. Very funny and spirited. Hopefully, they’ll portray that on the show instead of scripted drama. However, I anticipate both.

I don’t know but something about her rubs me wrong. I been on Team Jessica White way before many people knew who she was i.e 1990′s early 2000′s but she seems to be taking the tacky route when its absolutely unneccassary. The girl takes a fierce photo and she’s been in the game long enough to not be dating C listers and doing reality TV. I read an article *in Vibe I think* where it was said by designers that her activity outside of the photoshoot was what was hindering her career. She’s supposed to be a top model, hell to me she’s one of the more recognizable one’s, she has a deal with Maybelline. Maybe stick to what you know and oh yeah…close your legs to rappers and athletes for a minute. #justsaying

i’m just tired of the overload of reality shows. does every tom, dick, and harry need one? i’m not sure if she would make an interesting subject, but i do like her as model.

I remember seeing her on Tyra and thinking she was one of the most beautiful creatures I’ve ever seen…
But NOW…..wtf happened?! she looks like she does a lot of drugs and gets little sleep. And her choice of outfits ALWAYS look like Macys discount.
Hopefully this new show will give us a chance to see a different perspective of her

After seeing her on T.O.’s show and reading about her….hmmmmm…..but I do love when celebs get their own reality show and you get to know them a little more and see them in a different light. I really didn’t care for Keyshia Cole or Kimora until I watched their shows.
