Boxing Kitten (www.boxingkitten.com) recently released images from their Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook.
The newest collection was inspired by Russ Meyer’s 1965 cult classic “Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” about three wild women in fast cars. For Spring/Summer black and white (like the film) mix with the brand’s signature prints and vibrant splashes of color. The forecast includes lovely cropped tops and thigh grazing cocktails–perfect for spring and ultimately very wearable.
I personally love this new departure.
Black and white prints are much easier to incorporate into a wardrobe. I can totally see wearing a sundress under a denim jacket for a fun spring barbeque.

i think it’s gorgeous. i love the b & w w/ color mix — i also loooooove that silver airstream they shot it in. i gotta get me one of those and do a world tour!

I love bright, colorful prints. They’re especially going to look great during the spring and summer months.
I wish they had an online shop, their physical locations aren’t anywhere near Atlanta :(
The line also reminds me strongly of Custo Barcelona, which also employs bright, unique, and vibrant prints.

I love (love) love Boxing Kitten. Maya A. Lake is my favorite designer. She deserves more credit. Hopefully one day she’ll be up there with the Marc Jacobs n Coco Chanels of the industry. I definitely see myself in one of those dresses for summer.
