The pretty girl rocked the club in a see through shirt and tube top, paired with leather shorts, opaque tights, and booties.
The shorts are hot, but the top makes me go hmm…maybe it’s the placement of the pockets?

Chaundre from Brooklyn says, “For the 1st time I’m going to my boyfriend’s house for Christmas. I have NOOO idea what to wear. I’m very stylish, and LIVE in heels, however (maybe b/c I’m nervous) feel like heels will be too much. Can you give me any ideas?”
Yep, yep! Tis always the season to be stylish! I’d say go for casual with a twist with a festive sparkly sweater and slim fitting dark jeans. Satisfy your need for heels with practical wedge boots in a saucy style (I love Steve Madden’s Maryn Boots). Throw a simple blazer over to temper, and of course don’t forget your coat:
Throw on a fun hat to get a conversation started once you arrive at your boo’s. Accessorize with simple studs and a sparkly bag:

Angela Simmons was spied shopping this past weekend wearing the same Chanel Calfskin Biker Boots Beyonce wore for an appearance at Coachella:
The silver plated boots are great for any season. Beyonce wore them with cut off denim shorts, a hat, and a loose fit tee with a naughty message (it said ‘Punk a$$,’ ‘Motherf*cker,’ and ‘Girls on Top’). Angela chose to wear hers with ripped jeans, a button down shirt knotted at the bottom, and a blazer:
The boots are hot…..and look like they cost a pretty penny.
At any rate, who wore ‘em better?
Personally it will be a miracle if I even put moisturizer on for Christmas day (as I do not plan on leaving the house), but if you have a more social agenda on hand for the holidays, I’ve put together some makeup ideas so you can *cue the music* Deck the Halls with MAC and Bobbi.
1. Deep Shimmery Lip.
You likely own a deep berry or red lip color so you’re already halfway there. Now add a sheer gold or silver shimmery shade on top for a festive and easy look. Try MAC Lustreglass in Lustrewhite or Instant Gold. Or try an all-in-one color plus shimmery gloss like Bobbi Brown Shimmer Lip Gloss in Raspberry.
2. A Smoky Eye.
You can never go wrong with a smoky eye (ok, well you can) but the look is classic and can be appropriate in almost any social setting. For more conservative events, go easy on the application and choose lighter colors like brown or bronze. For more informal events, experiment with color and go with a green, blue, or purple smoky eye.

3. Metallic Eyeshadow.
Think the tinsel and ornaments are the only things that should shine? Nope! Adorn your eyes in a metallic eyeshadow. For cool undertones, try a silver color like Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Gunmetal. For warmer undertones, try a gold like MAC Eyeshadow in Bronze.
4. Neutral Eyes and Dramatic Lashes.
I love looks that are both natural yet dramatic at the same time. Open up your eye area and serve them doe eyes. If a volumizing and defining mascara just doesn’t do the trick for you, grab some Ardell Fashion Lashes and Duo Lash Glue in Dark (works best for darker hair). Need some tips? 5. Peach Blush.
Oh the joy of seeing a peach blush on various shades of brown. It looks good on all of us, but the trick is to get one pigmented enough to show up beautifully. NARS Blush in Gina or Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Excite are two that come to mind for every skin tone.
Wanna really knock ‘em out? Put some bronzer on your cheeks first and then apply the peach blush on top. Your cheeks will look INSANE. I’m currently in love with CoverGirl Queen Collection Bronzer in Ebony Bronze.

So it’s time for our ultimate showdown. That’s right, Fashionista of the Year.
You guys sent in your nominations, and this year’s contenders are Rihanna, June Ambrose, Kerry Washington, Shingai Shoniwa, Cassie, Solange, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kelly Rowland, and Kim Kardashian. Let’s take a look at some of their best outfits, shall we?
1. Rihanna
Rihanna has gone home with the title of Fashionista of the Year for 2007, 2008, and 2009. Rihanna even won by default after we tried to take her out of the race and give other fashionistas a chance to shine.
With the help of her stylist Mariel Haenn, Rihanna’s fashion reign was unstoppable, and this year saw her not only adopting a new hairstyle, but a new vibrant wardrobe to match.
She took risks, and whether you liked it or not, you loved her for pushing the sartorial envelope.
As she said in her hit So Hard, “I’ma run this $hit like fashion, as in, going til they say…stop/My runway never looked so clear/Got the hottest chick in heels right here.”
Agreed.
2. June Ambrose
June Ambrose has been working behind the scenes for years, creating camera ready outfits for Jay-Z, Chrisette Michele, Diddy, and Missy Elliott. 2010 saw her stepping into the limelight and garnering attention for her very own lustworthy looks.
Her bubbly personality, undeniable business sense, and sick wardrobe put her on the radar of the folks over at Vh1. Expect to see her in her own reality show very soon.
3. Kerry Washington
We already waxed on about her beauty attributes, but Kerry Washington has a great sense of style as well.
She stayed on best dressed lists rocking designer threads that weren’t overbearing in their trendiness, but fresh and contemporary nonetheless.
4. Shingai Shoniwa
The lead singer for the Noisettes has stolen our hearts thanks to her haute hair, makeup, and adventurous style choices.
She went from Undercover Fashionista in 2009 to on our best dressed list this go round, and brought her funky British aesthetic to everything she wore.
5. Kim Kardashian
Kim’s family owns a chain of clothing boutiques, so it’s no surprise she’s into fashion.
With the help of her stylist, Monica Rose, she plucked outfits that suited her curvy silhouette played up by accessories that cinched her waist and framed her gorgeous face.
6. Solange
Solange took fashion risks, wearing patterns, combinations, and lengths that most of us would be too shy to try.
Unapologetically unique, she worked whatever she was wearing to the hilt–and we loved her for it.
7. Zoe Kravitz
Zoe Kravitz had no choice but to be beautiful, with parents like Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet.
Daddy’s little girl took off swimmily this year, securing acting roles and an ad campaign with Alexander Wang.
8. Kelly Rowland
Though Kelly’s wigs were thrown into question this year, her wardrobe left no room for discussion.
She sizzled in frocks by Dolce & Gabbana, Georges Chakra, and Burberry, twirling around in Christian Louboutin heels and Zanotti stunners.
9. Tracee Ellis Ross
Tracee has always been known for her style, ever since her days as the fierce Joan Clayton of Girlfriends fame.
This year she proposed her own look, comprised of wide legged pants, fun rompers, and, of course, fly shoes.
10. Cassie
Cassie gets a bad rap. Some wonder why she’s famous, others think she can’t sing. One thing is undeniable: her great taste.
She wowed us this year in dresses by Herve Leger and furs by Isabel Marant. She even made her fashion show debut walking for LaQuan Smith’s Spring/Summer 2011 show.
Lovely.

Potential Vogue coverboy and basketball player Amar’e Stoudemire has reportedly been in talks with Rachel Roy about a design collaboration:
According to Page Six, the two have been meeting since September to discuss joining forces on Rachel’s lower priced line, Rachel Rachel Roy. Stoudemire’s rep said, “They’ve had conversations but nothing’s confirmed.”
I’m not much of a sports girl, so forgive my ignorance: Who is this guy? I know Anna Wintour invited him as her special guest to the Fashion’s Night concert at Lincoln Center, and he sat front row at the Tommy Hilfiger show. From what I can see dude can dress, and apparently he told Page Six, “I love fashion . . . I love watches. I love shoes. I make sure that every time I step out of the house, I’m feeling comfortable and fashion-forward.”
Still, this all seems a tad random.
Enlighten me ladies.
Hey Guys!
So I receive lots and lots of e-mails about new lines, and believe it or not, I read and respond to most. I was intrigued by a new brand out of DC called Fever Couture, and eagerly clicked the link to the line….only to find that the pretty tees were emblazoned with words like, “B*tch,” “Power of P*ssy,” and “F*ck Love.” The tees were cute, and the lookbook was on point, but the messages, frankly, made me blush.
I responded to the designer (who asked for feedback) and suggested she balance out a few of her explicit t-shirts with more mainstream messages. Some of us (ahem me) are conservative Suzies who would rather not cuss out strangers just by wearing a piece of clothing. But maybe I was wrong.
Would you rock a hot foul mouthed tee? Or would you rather take a more subtle approach (like Rihanna, who wore a “F*ck You” necklace while posing with kiddies)?
