wells folks, just remember its still white countries with white governments.
were still minorities, simply put they dont give a hoot about us.
i dont see them puttin us up there equally with others 100% of the time any time soon.
its that simple.
that being said, i love the fact that we aint takin it layin down!

It sucks that she said it would be a repeat. Different clothes, make up and maybe even more models. How would that be a repeat?

Her response pretty much confirms that in the fashion industry black girls are either “in season” or they’re not – as if they’re anamolies among the more “neutral” faces of white models. So I suppose the current state of blacks in the modeling industry will stay the same – no more than a handful of black supermodels at a time, unless they come into season for one issue again.
