Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving and weekend. And I’m sure half of you are wearing those pants that don’t show how much you ate last Thursday. A few celebs were spotted this weekend either at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, or just out and about.
And while some showed how thankful they were for their stylists, others…not much. Let’s take a look at who rocked, and who flopped.
Kanye hit up the 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade…
Braving the brisk New York City cold in a Burberry coat, aviators, and what appears to be a headband that strangely reminds me of Olivia Newton John’s “Let’s Get Physical” music video. Hmm… I was feeling the look until the leather headband came into play. But Kanye is sure to bounce back from this soon.
Rihanna was caught at LaGuardia Airport this weekend…
Looking cute and comfy in her lush black shearling coat, sunglasses, and a pink leather tote. Very chic traveling attire. Cute and comfy is the way to go this season if you’re making any trips.

And I wish I could say the singer came there looking pretty in pink, but not so much. Hmm…there’s only so much pink one can wear, and she’s wearing way too much. Her Louboutin boots are pretty fierce though.

And finally, Christine wears a dress that makes me “ooh” and “aah”. Hot! I especially love the slight midriff her dress. And of course, John Legend gets it with his suit and skinny tie. I’m beginning to fall for these two.

Hope you all had fabulous weekends. I’m in Georgia right now with my fam and spent my weekend trying to avoid all kinds of food temptations and then hit up Perimeter mall with Claire and Lenox with my other homies. Basically, I wish I could visit every mall in America.
They weren’t too many celebs out—perhaps they were all indoors at the gym working off all the holiday turkey. But let’s take a look at who was out and about…
Rihanna made a surprise appearance at a Hot 97-hosted Nicki Minaj concert in NYC. I’m absolutely in love with Rihanna’s new hair color and her cute head of curls. Nicki looked her usual colorful self. Hot!
Keyshia Cole also hit up the Minaj concert rocking a long red ponytail and what looks like pink liner or eyeshadow under her eyes. I will forever have a soft spot in my heart for Keyshia’s hair and makeup choices because she reminds me of the girl from elementary school whose mom would always let her wear the newest and flyest things while I sat in envy with my cornrows, pigtails, and ribbons. So in other words I think Keyshia looks cute here. Hot!
Singer Letoya Luckett was spotted partying it up in her hometown of Houston in what’s currently my favorite lip color of the moment–a gorgeous berry red. Letoya kept the rest of her makeup simple and glowy and I live for her swoop bang. Hot!
OK. I love me some Brandy and will forever argue that her Afrodisiac album is seriously underrated and slept on. But what I don’t love are these forehead-hiding wigs she wears. I mean, Brandy’s forehead isn’t large so not sure why she chooses to hide it. I love her makeup though.
Over in California, Claudia Jordan was spotted leaving Katsuya restaurant. Am I the only one who wonders what celebs had to eat when we spot them leaving all these restaurants? Anyway, I love her lowkey makeup and her skin is absolutely flawless. Hot!
Sugarbabes member Jade Ewen was spotted leaving Punchbowl in the UK. The singer rocked an amazingly hot matte red lip and girl’s face is BEAT to the clouds. Hot!
Simmons sisters Vanessa and Angela partied it up together in Texas. I love Vanessa’s pink highlights and cropped ‘do and while I can get down with a makeup-free girl, I just feel that an outfit as trendy as Angela’s is that some touch of makeup would set it off more.
And finally Eva Marcille was seen hanging with video vixens Rosa Acosta and Shakurlast at club Industry in Hollywood. All three ladies look smoking HOT! with their glowy skin and hair. Like there’s almost too much beauty in this photo.

Ladies, ladies, ladies! As the holidays are quickly approaching, we can see how crowded the malls are, how impossible parking is to find, and how neverending the lines are! As you all gear up for the biggest shopping day of the year ever, I’m getting a little intimidated by the masses that I’m sure to find due to Black Friday sales. Ugh, the pushing, the shoving, and the waiting. I completely dread it, hence why I might be leaning more and more towards Cyber Monday. I’ve been scouring online to write up a wishlist and found these gorgeous rings! ShopNBC had popped up on my Facebook suggestion box and showcased some “sneak peeks” which immediately drew me to their selection of rings. I don’t know if they have a “Cyber Monday sale” but if they do these babies will definitely be added to the cart! I absolutely love cocktail rings – big, gaudy and sparkly?? What’s not to love!? For Cyber Monday, and ok Black Friday too, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for jewelry! Jewelry rarely ever goes on sale so you’ll definitely be able to find a few deals here and there!
Actually, one of the best ways to keep up to date on sales and special deals is through twitter! If you follow any of your favorite stores or brands, they could actually tweet you when their products go on sale! For example, if you follow ShopNBC’s twitter page, they tweet daily on their new products and promotions. I’m sure many other retailers do the same thing since social media is so huge right now. Nowadays they’re even using YouTube, which I didn’t really consider as a “social media” kind of thing until I realized a lot of businesses post videos about their products. If you watch ShopNBC on YouTube, you get all the behind the scenes interviews and styling tips and advice, which is pretty cool. Hopefully they’ll have some deals on Cyber Monday because I REALLLLLY want these rings!
