Hey everyone! Vuitton here after a very long weekend at World Fashion Week held in the Bahamas again this year. Pics to come soon! And like me, a few celebs were out and about relishing in the festivities: some dressed to the nines, and others…not so much. Let’s take a gander at who rocked it and who fell flat.
First up is Nick Cannon, who celebrated with Quincy Jones at his Q: Soul Bossa Nostra Release Party…
Nick wore a charcoal pinstripe three-piece suit, and paired it with a pink shirt and plaid tie. Nick has been getting it right these past few weeks, and hasn’t really veered off track. Fly!
Estelle also came through to join the party…
She was dressed in all black, as per usual, but I’m not mad at her double-breasted blazer. And let’s take a look at her Charlotte Olympia platform pumps. Hot, no? She lightly accessorized with gold earrings, cuffs, and a necklace.
Cute couple Chrissy Teigen and John Legend also celebrated with Quincy Jones…
Chrissy looks cute in her nude dress and tan peep-toe pumps. And I’m loving the pockets on her dress. She completed her cute look with a pink clutch. John, who usually wows me in the style game, didn’t really impress me this go ’round. I like the fact that he wore a velvet blazer, since it’s making such a revival this season. But the length of the arm is too long, and he doesn’t look as tailored as he usually does. Hmm… luckily he’s not privy to such errors, so I know he’ll bounce back from this.
Jennifer Lopez hit up the Latin Grammy Awards this weekend, and gave us a smile, though I do live for her “La Lopez” face…
And once again, she proves that she’s still one hot mama in this Andrew Gn embellished keyhole gown. I’m not sure I’ve seen her in a color this dark before, but she pulls it off with ease and grace. Hot!
Keshia Knight Pulliam attended the Diamond Awards this weekend…
The actress looks hot in her gray, gathered shoulder top and black sequined pencil skirt. And the more I look at her, the more she’s becoming a favorite of mine this week.
And over at the Deepak Chopra MYMAG launch, Amerie went back to black and struck a pose.
I’m not mad at her outfit, but I do think she could’ve glammed it up a bit more. Her boots are fierce though. But hmm…I may be treading into Danielle’s territory when I say me no likey her makeup. It looks like a closed-eyed Lil Kim attacked that pretty mug of hers with blush.
And rounding out this week’s recap of celebs is Kimora Lee Simmons, who graced the same event with her fabulosity…
…or lack thereof. As much as I live for Kimora, she doesn’t breathe life into me here. I just can’t get past those patterned tights, and the purple suede booties…hmm… They seem to insinuate that she borrowed them from a Pirates of the Caribbean set. But she’s more “hit” than “miss”, so I’m sure we’ll see better from her next time.

My face completely changed when I scrolled down and saw Kimora’s shoes. Ut-oh!

That has to be the worst look I’ve ever seen on Kimora. Not a fan of Amerie, Keyshia or Estelle’s looks. J.Lo takes the cake easy!

Maybe it’s the camera angle (though I suspect it’s also those linebacker shoulders paired with that corset belt and pencil skirt) but Keshia’s body looks out of proportion, very top-heavy.

Keshia tries too hard sometimes. The draping, the panelled high waist skirt with the front zipper and bow on the toe is doing too much.
Maybe Kimora broke her real shoes on the way and had to wear her assistants…
