Get thee to 475 5th Avenue ASAP, and snap up a few tees and jeans before the Sean John flagship store officially shutters. According to WWD, the brand’s main New York outpost will be closing December 30th due to sluggish sales.
The 3,500 square foot boutique will officially close due to ‘inadequate selling space,’ but Sean John fans rest assured: a rep told WWD the brand is looking for alternate spaces to open new stores in New York and LA.

Not surprised about this. I don’t know too many people rushing out to get the latest Sean John apparel. Maybe he would have had a better chance if he had gotten his women’s line up to par. There is still a silver sequined bow back dress that Cassie wore when he first announced the line that I searched for and couldn’t find that I still wish I had.

Wow it’s funny that my name is in the first comment. Any ways I agree with sun.kissed Sean John is not as popular as before. I was talking to my guy friend about this and we agreed that urban fashion is not as trendy. It seems like guys that are really into fashion are trying to get high end labels now. It seems like black men need to learn how to sell clothes to black men now these days.

I THINK SEAN JOHN IS A GREAT LINE FOR MEN. BEAUTIFUL CLOTHING BUT WHITE PEOPLE DONT SUPPORT IT. THATS THE PROBLEM. IF WE DONT SUPPORT IT THEN WHITE PEOPLE WONT!
