Vogue.co.uk has a sneak peak at Lanvin’s highly anticipated collection for H&M. What we can expect: Over 45 looks, including faux fur vests and jackets, draped asymmetrical dresses in citron and hot pink, ankle wrap heels in leopard and glistening cherry, and flouncy skirts. Dresses range from $150 to $250, all women’s shoes are $100, and women’s coats are $150 to $350.

I.can’t.wait. I’ve got my eye on the one shoulder puff sleeve dresses in yellow and black, those leopard heels, and one or two of the coats.
What about you?

This is the most relevant fashion advertisement I have EVER seen. To show a line on all women is awesome. Did you see the elderly woman in the yellow dress. SHE LOOKS GREAT!!!!! The video did a stellar job stirring up my imagination.
Packing my overnite bag right now to sleep in front of the San Francisco Union Square store Nov. 21 for the Lanvin opening. And its not the women you have to fight off mind you.

I’m in love with the dresses, I also wish it could be ordered online cause I doubt any of these would make it to my local h&m, ugh I’m yet to find anything half cute in there.

I wonder will they do those rules again.. only so many people can shop the collection at a time, the others have to wait on their numbers to be called. Only 1 piece per style per person…..

Just checked and November 20th is a Saturday. For some reason thought it was during the week where I could haven taken a day off. But I have class on Saturday and I have a paper due on this day. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I don’t have anyone who would hang out for me at H&M. Wish my sister was here she is a trooper like that. What am i gonna do??? HELP!!!!! (overly dramatic I know) :((((
November 5, 2010 10:38 pm
Oh, I want the leopard shoes and black lace skirt. Love the jackets but I don’t think they will fit me.
November 6, 2010 1:34 am
i don’t like these collections because of the reputation for shoppers acting uncivilized and then price gouging on ebay, but i might actually try to check this out if i wake up in time ( i like to sleep late on saturday).

When I called H&M the sales woman said people were going to spend the night outside. She wasnt serious was she? i mean i love the lanvin collection! but there is no way im sleeping outside to get my hands on a dress which is not even a “real” Lanvin. Please tell me you are joking. The store opens at 8am. I understand coming 2 hours early and waiting but I do not understand the people who come at 8pm the following evening. Im lost. In paris we often come hours earlier but I havent heard of anyone sleeping outside. I guess some must but its a minority.
So when do you think the collection will be gone?? I mean do I have a chance of getting what I want if I get to the store a little before 8am?

[...] The Lanvin for H&M collaboration included tons of hot ticket items, and celebrities of course earmarked a few pieces for their personal wardrobes. Both Kim Kardashian and Sanaa Lathan were spied wearing the collection’s one shoulder, belted dresses for dinners and nights on the town: Kim set off her raven hair in an eggplant number, an accented the look with YSL Tribtoo pumps. Sanna opted for more vibrant pink, and uplifted the look with a flourish of red lipstick, a chain link strap bag, and stacked bracelets. The $199 dresses flew off of shelves in stores around the world: They certainly flatter both Kim and Sanaa, but who wore it better? [...]
