Foot comfort expert Dr. Scholl’s recently released a heavenly new product called Fast Flats:

The product consists of rollable, comfortable black flats that come with their own wristlet. The flats fit snugly into an included pouch, making them perfect to stuff in your bag or clutch for nights out and celebrations. It’s always hard to find something to bring in a small purse that will offer your feet some relief after teetering in heels all night. Dr. Scholl’s has the answer!
Get them for $13 from Walgreens here or find them in your local drugstore.
I can’t wait to try these out during fashion week!

Those are just gonna get dirty and I’m not gonna keep them nasty things in my purse all the time. And real women will tough it out and just wear the heels

Gap is selling some similar flats but in different colors. And they can also be put into a small bag that fits in your purse!
Definitely getting some. I cannot be walking around in heels for six hours without some relief.
They’re really good for nights out when there is no other alternative but walking.

I always say leave your shoes on all night. If you can’t wear them all night, don’t wear them at all. BUT, I would rather see chicks wearing these instead of walking around barefoot, ESPECIALLY outside.

Dinka, thats why they come with their own bag!! DUHH..
imjussayin… your feet probably busted.. real women who know when the shoes are hurting.. take them off…
Kudos to Dr. Scholls….. I will be getting a pair!!

I also believe if u know you can’t wear your heels all night then don’t wear them at all. I’ve seen the commercial on tv and always wondered so what do u do with your original shoes once u take them off. I carry a clutch like most females do when they go out at night and it would be impossible to get any kind of high heeled shoes into a clutch. Ugh, Its so “unladylike” to be walking around carrying your shoes. I will pass on this!

Well I have my fair share of heels ranging from 4 to 6″. I dont know about anyone else I have days where I dont even feel like wearing a 3″ heel but I have to because of an event or party etc. Even though I would generally tough it out and keep my heels all on night. I would rather have my Dr. Scholls. Because when you think about the long term damage of suffering in heels you CAN NOT be fierce in your 60′s + dealing with podiatry issues. Flats are ok, but they dont give your outfit that pizzaz it needs. I for one am ecstatic that they created these. Because frankly I was tired of watching my friends stuff flip flops int their clutches.. lol

It’s easy to say if you can’t wear heels all day/night, don’t wear them, but at fashion week, wearing heels is almost a requirement. Try rocking 4 inch Louboutins all day long, walking from show to show. Then try doing that in Paris where shows are spread out all over the city. Just unrealistic.
At the end of fashion week, the nails on my big toes were cracked on both feet from heels (I had to get them silk wrapped!). I’m sure I’ve done some permanent damage…anyway I’m doing a road test on comfortable heels in a bit, BUT. These flats are a godsend. If you’re carrying a tote for example, they’re more compact than a full on pair of flats, and you pop em on to limp home after a day of running around (you stick your heels in your purse). And women carrying heels in their hand after a night out might be an eyesore, but who cares? I’ve already spent a lot of time & money on bunion surgery (reference earlier posts) and it’s not worth it to do it again!

LMAO at all the comments…imeanreally…if you don’t like it don’t get it. And the only thing tackier than carrying your shoes is not being able to walk in them cuz your feet hurt – not sexy at all. I’m still in flats all the time because of an active 1 year old, but if I were still going out I’d buy a pair of these…ya’ll know when your feet hurt it’s a wrap…so instead of wanting to go home after the club…you can change shoes and do breakfast too. Have a fab wknd.

Real women don’t do this real women don’t do that.
Did I miss the convention all these rules were decided on?
My money
My feet
My decision

Clearly, ppl who feel the need to abide by the rules of what “real women” would do have no idea what makes a real woman. A real woman does what’s best for HER regardless of mere appearances. Nothing cute about needing corrective foot surgery in your 30′s or early 40′s. Just saying.

YES!!! I’ve been seeing the commercial for these lately, and I want some! Why not?….
I agree with your comment Claire. :)

@Bonifant… AMEN.
who the hell are these women trying to tell me what “real women” do and don’t do? I’m a real woman and trust, comfortable or not, 5″ heels become damn uncomfortable after wearing them for about 5hrs.

@ claire- thanks for being the voice of reason, it is entirely unrealistic to try to walk all over the place and wear 5 or 6 inch heels for hours. and jesus, cracked toenails! good lord, i literally scrunched up my feet just reading about it.
look, after the party’s over i take off my damn heels. do i care what anyone thinks? nope. usually i take a pair of flip flops and stuff them in a plastic bag in a big clutch, but these could totally work because they roll up and come in their own little bag, so they could fit in a variety of bags. just want to let the “real” woman (dinka) know that wearing heels for god knows how long after you’ve left the venue, just to look good, is ABSURD. nobody cares! and to the others, i don’t know if you realized this, but some shoes look better then they feel when you’re wearing them. that’s fashion. not everything is sensible cole haan shoes. that’s why people take them off at the end of the night.

Nope, im not buying it. First of all they look way tooo cheap to spend $13 on them when i already own many cute flats. If im carrying a tote large enough to stuff my heels in once i take them off then i just might as well bring alone my own comfy flats:-)
October 29, 2010 5:58 pm
Although I probably wouldn’t get these, Bonifant gets two cool points from me. The same ones who are experts on “real women” are probably the same ones who don’t last in heels for more than an hour anyway.
October 29, 2010 6:02 pm
@Bonifat THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANK U! I was wondering where this “real woman” bible was cuz I have yet to see it.
Anyhoo I have literally STOPPED buying heels w/o really walking around in them for at least a few minutes in the store. Trodding around in heels is not a joy. There are very FEW woman (like my mom) who can wear heels all damn day and feel nothing. I for one can not. I need car service I swear lol.
October 29, 2010 6:43 pm
I rock them why not, even in the most comfortable of heels your feet need a break even if you are in them for hours and this give a situation. I rather take my shoes off and put these on then limping until I get home. So I rock them and leave a pair in the office too
October 29, 2010 10:49 pm
thank you claire for being the voice of reason! after the party is over and i leave the venue, i refuse to continue wearing shoes that hurt. do i care what anyone thinks about my shoes in my hands afterwards? nope! corns, bunions, and foot surgery are not the mark of a “real” woman. and shoes that look good aren’t always comfortable. that’s fashion. and that’s why it’s realistic to take those shoes off when you need to. i would definitely get some shoes like this because i often put flip-flops in a plastic bag in my clutch, but these roll up shoes could fit in a variety of bags.
October 30, 2010 8:15 pm
I guess I must be a hoodrat then lol because my feet was hurting so bad in these cute booties I had just bought I took my shoes off and walked to the car barefoot do I care how it looks no. My feet are actually nice and I would like to keep them that way. Claire I agree with you 1000% and I had seen them in Walgreens and thought I will definitely get these lol. “Real women tho” lol
