Ciara and Kim Kardashian are best buds and apparently share everything–including wardrobes.
Both lovelies were spied wearing the exact same outfit–a $950 black Carven Satin Twill Ruffle Dress and $1,200 Christian Louboutin Leopard Lipspikes Ankle Boots:
Kim first debuted the look in Europe in September, wearing the simple dress and leopard booties with a Chanel bag and hair swept into a tight ponytail. Ciara took the look for a twirl on the red carpet of the For Colored Girls New York Premiere a few days ago, adding diamond bangles, wavy locks, and a red lip.

With such pricey items, it makes sense for the besties to share. It is a recession after all…even for stylish celebrities.

I’m pissed that Ciara is wearing the SAME outfit as Kim, in the exact same way! She didn’t even switch it up! Come on Ciara, have your own style, don’t be clone.

Actually the boots are both Louboutins but Ciara’s do not have spikes. If you look closely the animal print is different. As far as them wearing the same dress… Ciara needs to step out of Kim’s shadow b/c she actually has talent.

Their boots look slightly different, Ciara’s version seem to have black sheer around the ankle and the print is a bit different, HOWEVER…I’m not sure that they should be sharing clothes since they both are heavily photographed daily…hmmm. Get ya money up!

I think they both look really pretty. It’s a great combo, however I do find it a bit strange that they’d rock the same outfit like that. I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t a coincidence either.

Ciara is FOREVER copying the Kardashians. How you gonna wear the exact same dress the exact same way, at least switch it up a bit. I can’t with Ciara sometimes. Im gonna have to give it to Kim, why does Ciara’s dress look all dishevelled?

I think Ciara looks better in this particular outfit because she’s tall and slim so, the dress fits her better BUT it’s sad that she wore the EXACT same outfit as Kim. I know they’re “besties” *eyeroll* but Ciara needs to get off of Kimberly’s bra strap and find her own style & fame.

I agree with you, If I had paid stylist (cause you know I’m to fly on my own) there is no way in hell you see me wearing the same outfit as some C list celebrity. NO F*CING WAY!!!!
There are a million clothes to wear on this planet. A zillion designers with unique designs to sell but the only black woman willing to be daring is RiRi……
Ciara reminds me of so many black women who find it VERY difficult to find their own style and would rather follow the crowd….and to follow a C lister like Kim is just sad.

lol. i couldn’t help but to think of the “kim k makeover/upgrade”. you know, how everyone says: once you become bff with kim, you become a clone. (lala, ciara, serena). yeah, i’m not too sure why they shared outfits.
i think they both look great in them though. however, i like kim’s look better. ciara’s kinda looks like something is missing. maybe because kim is shorter, so the dress looks more casual than like a junior prom get up.

Clearly this is the stylist’s blunder. Celebrities have to dress for so many events, they can hardly keep up with what they’ve worn, let alone what their “friend” wore to an event months ago. With that being said, I believe the dress suits Ciara more so than Kim.
