Happy Friday Y’all!
The countdown begins for my trip back to Paris! No, I’m not moving back, just covering a few shows for Vogue.it! I’m excited to go to the shows (and stock up on stinky cheese).
At any rate, let’s solve some Mail Bombs!
First up, Jennifer says, “Where can I get the dress Kelly Rowland wore to the amfAR Toronto Gala?”

“I’d love to wear something like that on my birthday!”
A quick search found Kelly wore a Spring 2011 Edition Georges Chakra dress in white satin (similar to this):

The $3,000 dress boasts crystal beading and horizontal pleated details.

Next up, Cara says, “Where can I get Rihanna’s white dress?”

“Or something similar?”
Rihanna is wearing a $2,850 dress from Herve Leger’s Fall/Winter 2010 collection:

Nicole says, “I was watching 106 & Park 2 weeks ago and Rocsi had on the cutest letterman/varsity jacket. Although I don’t have a picture of it, I was wondering if you would know where to get a decently priced letterman jacket.”

Hey! Unfortunately I didn’t see the episode, but can imagine what type of jacket you’re looking for. Check out a few Varsity/Letterman jackets and sweaters I found:
In a wardrobe query, Mikala says, “I recently purchased this dress and I have no idea what type of shoe to pair it with.”

” I’m open to many suggestions from classy to funky. I am thinking about wearing this dress to a luncheon or out at night with my friends in DC. I would like to find a shoe in a good price range for a college student.”
Hey! Since the dress has a lot going on in terms of color, I’d say play it safe with a neutral shoe in a fun gold metallic that picks up on the gilded thread accentuating the dress’ waist and neckline. If you really want to funk it up, I’d say you could get away with something sparkly–even sequins. Check out a few options for $100 or less:
Lastly, Francesca from Kansas City says, “I can’t wear earrings on my left ear because of a scar on it that left it unpierceable. I would usually wear hairstyles that cover up that ear and then wear only one earring on my other ear. I’ve been like this for years and it never really bothered me that much. I would pull my hair back sometimes and wear nothing at all but you could tell something is missing, or at least that a pair of earrings would’ve been a great addition. So, I’ve been looking for some clip on earrings that I can use every now and then. I haven’t been successful so far, I found a few that were so uuuggllyyy! Lol. You know what a ponytail, fresh make up, pink lips and killer earrings can do to a woman!”

” Anyway, I was wondering if you could locate some nice stylish clip on earrings for me as I am sure someone in the fashion world may have thought of that, I can’t be the only one earring impaired!”
Lucky you, there are tons of stylish clip on earrings. We found you a host of hoops, chandeliers, and of course studs. Take a look:
That does it! I’m spending the rest of the day preparing for my trip (and maybe even investing in a new camera). Stay tuned!
Smootches!
