Hey Guys!
I snapped Real Style until the very last moment.

Check out a few of my favorite looks:

I stopped these two sunglass designers for Milan Hemmingway (www.milanhemmingway.com) on my way out of Lincoln Center. What’s not to love? Everything from the red, black, and white brogues to the fur stole and Gucci bag screamed style!
These two stylistas were chilling by the Starbucks Frappuccino bar when I asked them for a snap. Turns out they recognized me from Necole Bitchie’s new site, Bitchie Life. Hey Guys!
A-ten-hut! Accessory designer O. Damien Peterkin was at full fashion attention with his yellow accented leather jacket, blue suede sneakers, and funky jewelry. I asked for a close up of his rings, but he declined, citing he had too many bruises on his fingers from melting metal. Sounds like a man dedicated to his craft. Check him out at www.odpny.com.
The young lady on the left’s blond highlighted afro was like a beacon of light, beckoning me to come and take a picture. Turns out this fun group of fashion students are also bloggers as well. Check out Loukie on the left at www.xloukie.tumblr.com, Candace (middle) at www.sweetroyaltiii.blogpsot.com, and Danny at www.grasshopperphotostudio.com.
Ayoka of Charleston Mag (www.charlestonmag.com) looked haute in a beige dress by Jamie Lin Snider, a local Charleston designer.
And lastly her buddy Dalia looked lovely in a vintage jacket, Motel dress, American Apparel leggings, and H&M shoes.
What do you think of our last installment of Lincoln Center Style?

Picture number 1 & 3 : A HAUTE MESS. High fashion is not meant for everyone. Good style has to look effortless. You end up looking like a clown when everything about you reads “contrived”.
The ladies in picture number 2 are workin it. Everyone else, *side eye*
Have a nice weekend everyone.

I agree @lola.
Some people try too hard. Most of the people who dress like this are usually trying to break into the industry. They then complain about lack of opportunities extended to them. It’s because you look like a damn clown. Mismatched foundation and “please look at me” clothes don’t equal high fashion.
As for the rest, especially the second picture… adorable!

@ic I must agree regarding the clown wear and that blocking opportunities. Another thing: I was sitting at a show and there were these two LOUD black girls sitting behind me. Shouting their thoughts like they were in a Tyler Perry movie. I was sooo embarrassed by their screams of “Oh that’s cu-ute” and “I would wear dat.” I’m not trying to be a b*tch, but we need to know how to act at these events. Fashion is slightly elitist, so keep it classy.

The thing everyone has in these photos is confidence which is great, but I really feel they all look like d*mn fools too.
They all seem to be in “fashion”, but really lack style.

*Side Eye* @ Pinkflame, I admire those who work in fashion & DARE 2 be Fashionable!
Keeping an open mind 2 the possibilities of a look that Could or Could Not work for you is style in a nut shell. Taking risks is what it’s ALL about!! A lack of style SOME of these had but, Who doesn’t love a person for trying or even putting forth the effort of an ensemble 2 present themselves 2 a world where being fashionable is power.
Jus Sayin………….Good Job Fashionbomb!
The two ladies @ the bar are my FAvZ hands down!!! (You Better Work……RuPaul Voice)
