The Catherine Malandrino Spring/Summer 2011 presentation took place September 12th at noon outside of Avery Fisher Hall. The Sunday rain had slowed to a trickle, allowing hundreds of fashion lovers to peruse Catherine’s newest designs (while also showing off a little bit of style themselves):
The ever chic June Ambrose posed for us in an Alessandro Dell Acqua jacket, Marc Jacobs skirt, and YSL Platform pumps. She later tweeted a full view:
I actually had a chance to chat with June about her upcoming projects (she’s working with Jay-Z and Eminem on their concert at Yankees stadium) and about style in general. She’s hilarious.
I also took a picture of fellow blogger Najwa Moses of Styleaholics (www.styleaholics.com) who was rocking a cute new cut, fun readers, and a strapless multi colored frock. I loved her vintage jacket and its matching bag.
The Coco & Breezy (www.cocoandbreezy.com) crew were in full effect with their space aged meets 80′s revival looks. I loved the faux fur stoles, studs, and blue lips. Hey, maybe they inspired Amber Rose’s azure pout?
And lastly, I ran into reader and blogger Paula Renee of www.no4corners.com who recognized me from the F Bomb and asked me for my picture. I’m always so shocked when y’all recognize me, but am endlessly happy and grateful to y’all for reading!

Yes Ann, her hair is 100% natural and she has a standing appt every week with her stylist here in NY but unfortunately I forgot his name. I love June, she is my fashion icon.
