Happy Monday, Bombshells! Hope the weekend treated you well.
They weren’t too many celeb sightings (at least not by my count) this weekend, but let’s take a look at who was spotted, shall we? Let’s!
British pop singer Corinne Bailey Rae decided to go the makeup-free route during the Latitude Festival in England. Rocking a head full of gorgeous curls, Corinne rocks the look. And I’m sure she smoked the set with her soothing vocals. Hot!
An event just isn’t an event these days without Kim Kardashian popping up. *shrugs* Such was the case at the Beach Bunny Swimwear collection showing at MBFW Swim. She’s pretty as usual, but good MAC overload grief, Kim! This stuff looks caked on. Hmm…
One-half of Pastry Simmons’ sis Angela Simmons was also seen makeup-free at the Trina Turk show at MBFW Swim in Miami. While I’m sure it was hot as the dickens down in the MIA, I would have loved to see something on Angela’s face–mascara, concealer, liner–something! I see she has her baby hairs all slicked down. Go ‘head then Angela–looking just like yo daddy.
Fashion Bomb favorite Rihanna was spotted on stage during her Las Vegas leg of her Last Girl on Earth Tour. I love her makeup–that fierce cheek highlight is everything. The Kool-Aid red hair is growing on me, too. Hot!
Serena Williams was at the Burberry Beauty Garden Tea party with hot hair and makeup (although I’m a little Hmm…-ish about the lip color being so autumny and too matchy with her dress). She still looks good though. But I would like to give a big ole Hmm… at that humongous band-aid on her leg I’ve seen in pics of her. Somebody tap Serena and tell her about BandShades. Oh, and those feet could for sure use a layer or two of lotion. Yikes—and some polish for her toes, too. OK–just look at her from the knees up.
And last but not least, Marsha from one of my favorite British duo groups Floetry was at the Heineken Inspire concert in Philly. I LOVE her hair and the golden-bronze look of her skin. Not sure if it’s the lighting, but looks like someone went a little overboard with the eyeshadow and bronzer. She looks good nonetheless.

everyone looks great….Marsha tho has ran this one outfit into the ground though I feel ast though since she’s lost the weight this is all I see her in.

I actually like how Angela is make-up free…it’s refreshing! I don’t think she needs make-up. She looks great expcept for her being next to Bow Wow…

I promise Serena probably put some lotion on! I played tennis for a long time too and the feet just end up looking like that sometimes from not being in the sun as much as the rest of your body. She needs to just lay out for a bit with the feet uncovered.
I’m just mad at her for matching everything. Lipstick, dress, huge purse…it’s just not okay. Take away the purse and I’d be alright.

Sooo disappointed in Serena. I’m gonna have nightmares about those crusty feet. I kinda prefer the makeup-free look on Angela compared to the overdone look of Kim K.

I like Serena’s dress and make-up but together it is too much purple. You can tell from looking at Serena’s nails that she has a nude polish on her toes. Never heard of bandshades. Do they come in bigger sizes then what is shown on the link? That is a pretty big band-aid on Serena’s ankle.

i LOVE corrine’s hair, angela looks washed out and boring, kim’s make up is always on point, serena’s makeup looks nice and her feet don’t look that bad to me, and i still think rihanna’s hair looks dumb.

No girls, it’s waaaay to hot and humid here in Miami right now to wear makeup especially if you are going to be outside for any extended period of time.

I agree w/ Material Girl, Angela Simmons make-up free face is fine as it is. I love seeing black women bare faced and beautiful w/ it. Some women just can’t pull it off….
I just adore Corrine’s hair so much. She’s a cutie and I really like her music.

I love it when artists go natural :-) I love Corinne, she’s so laod back and sophisticated in her way, style and nature. I’ve recently been following another British artist by the name of Kelly Erez who works with the same people Corinne has http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY3sWuuaHRI again lovely sound and natural. This is what it should be about, not all fake model like people who can’t even sing or do proper music.
