Happy Independence Bahamas!
Vuitton here with the lowdown on who rocked it at the wedding we’ve all been waiting for, and who should’ve run back to their hotel rooms to consider a change in outfits.
First up, the married couple of course…
La La made sure that no one would steal her shine on her wedding day. Wearing a frothy white gown and a beautiful smile to match, the bride looked nothing short of beautiful. Carmelo looks incredibly dapper himself. I love the fact that his blazer is navy and the bow tie is red, but everything ties in together perfectly for a well put-together look. Two thumbs up!
Gal pal Kim Kardashian was in attendance of course…
She went back to her roots and pulled out an Herve Leger dress, but I’m actually not mad at the dress choice. It hugs all her curves, yes, but I like the color against her skin, and it shows that she doesn’t want all eyes on her. Cloue Noeud Louboutin’s and a silver clutch complete the look.
DJ Clue also came through. Wonder if he DJ’ed the reception…
Hmm… One thing he should’ve done was stamp that suit “return to sender”. More than two buttons on a blazer is over. Second, the fit is beyond awful. The hat is completely unnecessary. And the shoes just kill me softly. They’re square-toed for one, and they don’t even look polished. Come on Clue! We know you can do better than this.
Kelly Rowland made her way to see her girl take the plunge…
I like the way to dress fits on her, but I would’ve loved it in peach since this is a summer wedding. But hmm…what’s with the tote? Gonna sneak some rolls out at the reception? And I’m not really fond of her leopard print YSL TribToo’s. A simple color would’ve looked better.
Tennis superstar Serena Williams was also in attendance…
Serena has been acing them with her style game lately. I loved this dress on her, and she would’ve gotten props. But I scrolled down to discover a wayward hemline. Hmm…if there’s one thing that can ruin a beautiful dress, it’s definitely an unfinished hem. Black peep-toe d’Orsay heels complete the look.
106th & Park host Rocsi also made an appearance at the nuptials…
…and it looks like she wore “the backup dress.” The “backup dress” is the dress you wear when the dress you had originally planned to wear suffered some unfortunate mishap. At least that’s what I’m hoping happened here. The sequined top pretty much cheapens the dress for me. A white blazer would’ve saved this ensemble tremendously, but I guess we can’t have it all. However, I love the subtle bling and her nude peep-toes.
Ciara, and those legs, came through as well…
…donning an entire Versace spring ensemble. I do love the dress and the shoes. But I can’t help but think the length of the dress is just a little inappropriate for a wedding. That minor discrepancy aside, Ciara looks hot.
And last, but not least, Trina…
I love the dress and the Louboutin’s, but the dress is just a little too dramatic for a wedding for me. Hmm… now if this were a Gaga themed funeral, then this would be the go-to frock. A for effort though.
Congrats to the newlyweds! I’m so happy for them.

Ciara….honey….I can almost see your ninacrunch!! Not appropiate for a wedding save that for the club! I LOVE Trina, She has stepped it up lately! Of Course Lala looked BEAUTIFUL as she should have on her big day! Congrats to the couple!!

Ciara looks a mess. This is completely inappropriate for a wedding. And I definitely would not have worn those shoes and the dress together…too busy!
Kim looks great. Lala was a beautiful bride.

I feel like everyone forgot that they were going to a wedding, not a club event.
I know Kim looks great in most things, but this was just too tight for me. Her boobs were at her chin.
Kelly thought cheetah print shoes were a good choice…And they’re not Kelly.
Ciara just looked a mess. Like a hooker on the stroll.
I’m glad Lala and Carmelo look so happy together. I’m hoping they last. They look like true love :-)

When I saw Ciara I was wondering if she was going to a room to change into her proper dress– she is NOT serious! that’s a clubbing dress! she dresses better to go to dinner

LaLa looks gorg! It’s about damn time they got married! Yeah, most of these people failed horribly. Ciara definitely should have picked something else to wear, that cartoonish dress definitley wasn’t apporpirate. Shame, shame…on the other hand I think Rocsi looks good. Her dress is simple, cute and fits the occasion.

Congrats to the couple! They both looked PHENOM!!! I thought Kim Kardashian looked nice but the dress was a little too much for a wedding… her boobs are spilling out of it. Serena looks AMAZING.. no words to describe her style lately. Rocsi… well you said it all in your post :), Ciara always looks great but I agree with the length of the skirt not being wedding appropriate and Trina… ummm no thanks. ;)

Loved Kim…but she could’ve worn something else…less white and less tight…SMH…really Kim…and I know Ciara likes to wear that type of outfit – still trying to prove she is a girl or whatever…I’ll give her a pass…everyone else meh…oh yeah…would’ve loved to see Lala’s hair up – you know for the formal event.

Claire goes hard on em all this time. I will say dressing for a wedding can be quite diffucult. One wrong color or shoe will turn your outfit from wedding to club. Claire, could you please do a post on ideas for wedding. Esp big busted girls :)

Ciara… seriously… you wore that to a wedding?! ugh… Kelly’s dress really needed to be a brighter color, not feeling that dark look for summer. Kim K looked hot, gorgeous color and that bandage dress hugs like a girdle, lol. i wish i knew it was going to be at Cipriani’s, that’s across the street from my job! lol

Ciara’s dress is far too short, but I loved Trina’s look. Another colour might have worked better, but still hot. And I, too, was disappointed with Kelly’s outfit.

Love CiCi but that was not a wedding appropriate dress neither was Kim’s. Venus looks great! When attending a wedding you should not attempt to outshine the bride…modest & classy works. Love to LaLa & Carmelo – GOD BLESS

I was not feeling that tight fitting dress on Kim. Plus it was too close to white, if my close friend was getting married I would not wear any color close to white (that’s just me)
I didn’t see anything wrong with Angie Beyince and Kelly’s hair (previous post)… they were my fav dressed

I love everyone’s look except Trina’s. She looks old as hell and it looks as if she has a receding hairline. I wish Lala wouldve done something different with her hair, Ive seen that look on her too many times. Other than that, she looks beautiful!!

Vuitton, you’re on point with this one. I was alarmed at how many slightly inappropriate faux pas that these celebrities made with their outfit and accessory choices. Every time I thought someone got it right something else would catch my eye and mess it all up. I totally missed Serena’s hem line though. Good eye. And I was too mad at Ciara for rocking that mini dress. You can almost see crotch when she’s ascending the steps! but did you see Luda’s girl Eudoxie however? She was one of the few who seemed like she knew that she was attending a wedding and dressed accordingly.

I think lala looks Beautiful but I have to agree with some of the others and say I would have preferred to see her hair up, however she did shave half her head and its probably not fully grown back yet.
Kim K looks to me like she IS tryin to get some spotlight in that tight dress….it looks like serena has a band-aid on her right ankle….kelly looks boring….rocsi looks cheap but appropriate….trina looks like she’s trying to hard to be high fashion….ciara (sigh)….the one person who I thought looked really cute and appropriate but is not on this post is Lebron’s girl Savannah.

i dont get the big deal about wearing white. no one is SERIOUSLY going to confuse you for the bride and if i found a dress i liked and it happened to be white, i would wear it. second, i actually like the length of ciara’s dress, the pattern just looks juvenile. i like kim k’s dress and kellys shoes. trina looks horrifying as usual. lala looks better then usual.
