So our last wardrobe revive was chock full of amazingly…expensive options. This time around we’re giving you 15 chic picks that are more affordable at $150 or less. Take a look at a few accessories that can make your wardrobe rock:

Which would you pick?
Just because some of your favorite internet beauty gurus have makeup cases that can rival the shelves at Sephora (hey, we all have our vices, right?), doesn’t mean you necessarily have to blow your mortgage on a lipstick. If you’re on a budget or have a stash of items in your kit that you can’t seem to find a use for, check out this quick guide to help you get more usage out of what you have.
1. Eyeshadow as blush. Not getting much usage out of some of your bright eyeshadows? Use them as a blush instead. Brighter colors like peach, orange, red, and pink look beautiful on the cheeks but if you need to tone it down, give it a dusting of loose powder. And just because it’s marketed as an eyeshadow, doesn’t mean you can only use it as an eyeshadow.
2. Eyeshadow as eye liner and vice versa. You can also use your eyeshadows as liner by using a eyeliner brush. It’s perfect for adding pops of color as well as making your shadows work double time. Then have your liners clock in some OT by using them in conjunction with a dense eyeshadow brush to create anything from a smoky eye to a simple wash of color on the eyes. Another thing? Eyeliner can also work as a great eyeshadow base.
3. Lipstick as creme blush. If you tried to go bold with this season’s new orange and you want to add more mileage to your tube, try rubbing a bit into your cheeks with your fingers for a lovely cream flush. Works with your red and pink lipsticks, too. Tone it down with a dusting of loose (or pressed) powder.
4. Use water to intensify your eyeshadows. If you bought a shadow (especially one from the drugstore) that doesn’t seem to stay put or looks a bit dull, try using a bit of water to apply it to help intensify the color. It also helps to make your shadow last longer.
5. Make lip color combos with your gloss, lipstick, and lip pencils. If there’s frosty lipstick in your stash that you cannot wear alone, try using a lip pencil (dark brown, red, and deep burgundy are good staples to have for darker skin tones; pink, beige, and light brown for lighter skin tones) and a touch of gloss to make it more wearable. You can actually have unlimited options with very few products (anyone remember permutations from math class? lol).
Now let’s hear how you make the most out of your makeup!

This spring is all about comfort, and celebrities has been dressing up workout wear for everyday fashionable occasions. Whether you jump on the sweatpants with heels trend, sport a cropped off the shoulder gym issue top, or slip on one of Alexander Wang’s fun bodycon dresses, you’ll look laid back and lovely:

Will you be trying this trend?
If so, get the look with these:
While getting in my daily dose of celeb gossip over at TheYBF.com, I spotted pics from the Real Housewives of Atlanta “Dance with the Stars” event that went down this past weekend.
But instead of putting my own 2 cents in as usual, I’m letting you Fashion Bombshells take the wheel.
What do you say? Beauty Hot! or Hmm…?
For all you fellas who lurk on the Fashion Bomb, I’ve got a little treat for you! Presenting London’s A.Hallucination :

Recently launched by Central Saint Martins graduates Hwan Sung Park and Chung Chung Lee, the line presents a sharp, contemporary take on the classic British dandy look with urban citywear influences. The designers have previously worked for Burberry, Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford, Ozwald Boateng and Lie Sang Bong–and it shows. My absolute favorite pieces include their abbreviated trench with toggles and quilted sleeve jacket.
Using both casual and dressy elements, the line is geared for that fashion forward man who puts an emphasis on fine tailoring and razor sharp details.

Hey!
So I was cruising over at Upscale Hype when I stumbled across this picture of Gucci Mane betraying his namesake by rocking a $290 Louis Vuitton Scuba Visor in Rose Pink from their Spring/Summer 2009 collection. The visor, though originally modeled on a blond haired model, seems made for ‘rapper’ types:
Honestly, who but a rapper would wear a plastic monogrammed Louis Vuitton visor (in pink?)? And who did Louis Vuitton intend to buy this item? I’d project that it certainly wasn’t anyone remotely resembling the lithe model in the advertisement.
For all the talk of high end designers not catering to minority clientele and not featuring black models on runways and in advertisements, I think they know exactly who they’re making the monogrammed jackets, bum bags, and rose pink plastic visors for. Just my thoughts.
What do you think?
*For the record, Louis Vuitton does support diversity, as witnessed by their Afro-wigged multicultural model roster for their Spring 2010 show.
