So word on the street is that one of my former Brooklyn hangouts, Habana Outpost, is reopening this weekend after a winter hiatus. If you were rocking with the Fashion Bomb back in 2007, you’d know that I was at Habana Outpost all the time, and typically snapped Real Style there on a weekly basis!
Habana Outpost is an outdoor restaurant in Fort Greene, Brooklyn that serves yummy Mexican food and signature frozen mojitos. Brooklyn’s most stylish subjects roll through the urban oasis in outfits that marry unique eccentricity with casual chic. If you’re passing through sometime soon, here’s a quick guide to what to wear.
Ladies, make heads turn in easy dresses or rompers, worn with flat sandals for comfort and sunnies to block the rays. Note: A little height is ok in the form of a wedge, but stilettos will simply look out of place:
Guys, go for crisp and clean, but play with fun unexpected details like neon watches and bright sneakers:
New Yorkers, will you be checking out Habana this weekend?
