Bombshells!
So this weekend I was strolling along Avenue Montaigne, a beautiful street full of high end shops like Chanel, Prada, and Louis Vuitton. As I was window shopping by the Balenciaga store, I spied this well dressed gentleman who looked spring ready in hot sunglasses, white sneakers, and a wonderful scarf:
After chit chatting, I found out he’s an accessories designer. Hopefully I can feature him soon on the Fashion Bomb!

So I was walking around my neighborhood when I stumbled across a kiosk advertising Elle France’s April issue:
The edition is dedicated to plus size beauties, and has model Tara Lynne on the cover sporting a not-so-flattering white jumpsuit. Inside, the model is shown nude in the opening shot of a 20 page spread:
I definitely like the idea of a plus size issue, but think the Elle France team could have done a little better with the execution. A Monif C dress, for example, would have been more becoming than that skin clinging crinkled white number (which would make even the skinniest of minnies look like a marshmallow). And why the nude picture in a fashion magazine? Hmmm….

When the weather warms up, there’s no color I enjoy wearing more than yellow.
The light catching hue wipes away dull doldroms, and reflects the toasty temperatures and sunny forecasts. Pair a yellow jacket with skinny jeans, statement making heels, and a blinged out watch. Pop on some sunnies and a white wristlet for a cute spring ready look:
For extra umph, don’t forget that yellow manicure!

One of my favorite Hollywood girls, Gabrielle Union, hit up the Jimmy Kimmel Live show to dish on her show FlashForward and her relationship with NBA player Dwayne Wade. She snapped some twitpics of herself while getting ready for the appearance and she looks soooo gorgeous. Just look at her glow (and do you know how hard it can be to capture glow via a twitpic?)
You can get her look in four quick steps. Check it out:
1. A glow this serious needs exfoliation. Unveil your inner glow with St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Then twice a day before you apply moisturizer, treat your skin to Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer (this stuff is amaaaazing for brightening dull skin).
2. After you apply your foundation and shimmery nude eye makeup, apply a pigmented peachy pink blush that works on all skin tones like NARS Blush in Amour to your cheeks. Applied too much? No problem. Blot out blush mistakes by taking a fluffy brush (try MAC 187) dipped in loose powder (try Becca Fine Loose Finishing Powder) over your cheekbones.
3. Apply a brownish-pink gloss like NARS Lip Gloss in Stolen Kisses (go peachy-pink if you’re lighter toned–try MAC Lustreglass in Love Nectar).
4. To add radiance (and to avoid cake face), give your face a few spritzes of MAC Fix+ Spray.
