Mel B recently graced the red carpet of Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas with a freshly half shaved hairstyle:

Though we’ve all grown tired of this look–last year everyone from Lala to Cassie to Rih Rih shaved their heads–it seems Mel B is still trying to keep the trend going well into 2010. Why she would opt for this particular choice is befuddling. Maybe she’s trying to bring it back? Perhaps she did it in solidarity with her adolescent daughter Phoenix?

Whatever her reasons, I’m hmm’ing hard.
What say you?
*Thanks Julie!

I’m triple HMMin’!!
Why does it have to be so bald?
It’s not as attractive on her as it was on Cassie & Lala or even the ladies that did it before both of them.
AND if it read “I want attention” from Cassie, it screams “I’m desperate for you to notice me” from Mel B.

She looks foolish. Not attractive at all.

As a woman with long hair, I can understand that sometimes we get tired of the same old look – either it’s straight, soft waves, or curls. But…a nice cut would have suited her better, I think (and not just because the look is played, but because it’s not that cute on her).
