Sure the video for the song Telephone by Lady Gaga and Beyoncé might have had a slightly strange plot, but we can’t deny the fashions were off the chain!
The stylist for the video, Nicola Formichetti, provided a rundown of the looks on his blog, and it comes as no surprise that the two leading ladies rocked a slew of hot designers.
On the top row on the left, we have Gaga in a Haus of Gaga outfit with Christian Louboutin Boots, and Beyoncé in Oscar Olima. Top row right features Gaga in vintage Chanel shades and a Search and Destroy studded jacket. Middle row left, Beyoncé shined like the sun in a yellow hat and dress by Atsuko Kudo and sunglasses by Jeremy Scott. In the middle on the right she played up a short banged cut with a Jean Charles de Castelbajac jacket and shoes and denim shorts by Franc Fernandez and Oscar Olima. Gaga’s prison striped low cut outfit on the bottom row left is by Jean Charles de Castelbajac and sunglasses are by Mercura. Bottom row right features Gaga with custom made crime scene tape by Brian Lichtenberg.

Yes the outfits were amazing, but I felt like the video was more about the clothes and less about the music, video or storyline. Lady Gaga is a musician who also wears great clothes, Bad Romance was better in a since because it was balanced. It showcased the fashion, the song was catchy and video was odd and funny, or is it McQueen was just a beast!
