A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the launch party for FSL Cosmetics, a company that features a fab new line of lipsticks and lipglosses. The brand is the brainchild of Kimberly Riley, a smart and gorgeous YBF (young, black, and fabulous) diva who received a bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering with double minors in Chemistry and Business Administration. Kim always wanted to show the world how female engineers could have exciting and creative careers in an industry they know best. And lipgloss, she does know best.
While FSL has an array of lip colors, I naturally gravitated towards their lipgloss in Seduction–a bright, glossy red that appears to have married the worlds of lipstick and gloss and could be a dead ringer for Chanel Allure Laque in Dragon. And get this—it smells like brownies! Check it out on me:
Excuse the sleepy eyes and the cropped pic–I was tired and needed to hide a multitude of sins…lol. But how hot is this color?
All the lipglosses are hypoallergenic, consist of a vitamin-rich, antioxidant-potent formula that will hydrate and protect the lips from natural elements. They are also 100% free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, GMOs (generally modified organisms), nut oil, gluten, and talc. They don’t test on animals and the lip gloss containers are 100% recyclable. Great for your lips, great for the environment. Nice!
