The fly guys posted this picture of Dawn Richard and Kaleena of Dirty Money, who were looking windswept and fabulous at a club jam:
Though I love Dawn’s shorter haircut much better than her formerly long locks, and appreciate the ladies’ edgy steeze, this particular shot makes it seem as if both were a bit too liberal with the dye and styling tools.
Then again, I am a recovering conservative Suzy…maybe I can’t see the hairstyle’s inherent flyness?

Twitter was ablaze with tweets at last night’s Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci Couture show, as tardy for the party Ciara was apparently booed by photographers for her 38 minute late arrival:
In addition to the couture house’s ‘muse’ arriving fashionably late, it seems she also wasn’t very willing to pose for pictures. Hmmm….
As someone who is chronically 10 minutes late (but trying fervently to change), I can empathize with Cici. I mean it looks like she was perhaps having wardrobe issues…and haven’t we all been there before?

Vuitton here with a rundown of what you stylistas can rock if you plan to attend fashion week.
The New York shows are quickly approaching (15 days and counting), and I thought, “What better way to prepare you fierce ones than to offer a few tips, Fashion Bomb style?“ You’ll have to know what to wear to hit up the parties, off site events, and mixers, won’t you?
When socializing with Fashion Week regulars like Genevieve Jones, Rachel Zoe, and Shala Monroque, head to toe designer ensembles are preferable, though you can opt for an indie designer or cute vintage find.
If you’re stumped on what to wear, go for a no fuss dress. Throw on that Tracy Reese number that’s just been sitting in your closet. Or what about the Black Halo you just bought?
Next up, shoes:
Though wearing flats is the most comfortable option, true attendees know that for the week, you’ve got to grin and bear teeter tottering in the highest and trendiest of designer stilettos. Yes, you may be literally running to catch a show, and your feet may hurt, but at least you won’t be caught by The Sartorialist in *cough* flats. Try these on for size:

At first glimpse I figured my pocketbook was safe because I saw mostly pastel colors (mama likes brighter more pigmented colors), but then a second look produced some favorites already: La Laque Long Lasting Nail Lacquer in both Beige Chiffon and Mauve Silk; Y-Mail Complexion Palette #2 Blush Highlighter; Gloss Volupte Sheer Sensual Gloss Stick in Tangy Orange; and Rouge Volupte Silky Sensual Lipstick in Faubourg Peach and Rose Paris. I’m looking forward to bright corals, peaches, and pinks this spring. How about you?
