Hip Hop’s most fashion savvy couple are still making their rounds in Paris, appearing today at Chanel’s Haute Couture show at Pavillon Cambon Capucines:
Outfitted in a head-to-toe hooded gold knit dress and platform pumps, it seems Amber took the opposite route from her earlier choices, going for totally covered up (vs. barely there):
She seems to be channeling iconic fashionista Grace Jones…
I think it works for her. As for Kanye? Definitely Dapper.

I like her in it, not sure this is one of her better looks though. I see Ye is keeping it simple these days, but that’s not a bad thing at all.

i would love it if is was shorter right above her knees. her legs need to be seen they are fabulous! The dress shortens her stature a bit.

I just don’t think knit was the way to go with this dress. Something more wavy and a bit less form fitting would have saved this.

not feeling the egyptian hood thing on her.
her face while beautiful doesn’t have the contours to pull it off. She just looks round Grace has more angles. Maybe instead of an allover glow she needed to use her highlighter and bronzer more effectively.

This look is plain horrid. She’s demonstrating she hasn’t the slightest bit of originality. Sorry, but Grace Jones already did this, and did it better.

Ok, so let me first start off by saying that AR is a BEAUTIFUL woman.
However…
a) She always goes a bit over the top with her outfits, which makes it really hard to take her seriously. Sometimes, certain looks just WORK for her (like her obsession with spandex), but other times she just looks like she’s channeling her previous occupation as a stripper. This outfit in particular, makes her look like she’s about to perform a one-woman showing of “Camelot”. All bad.
b) Imma really need her to stop swagger jacking Grace Jones. It’s getting a bit ridiculous. Find your own style, dammit. But then again, that just goes to show you how gorgeously TALENTLESS this chick is.
c) What does she do for a living again? Or, should I say, WHOM? LOL
