So in addition to Kanye West and Amber Rose, it seems Jay-Z and Beyonce are also in the city of lights for Men’s Fashion Week (I know, I’m dying). The YBF caught pix of them leaving l’Avenue restaurant last night, with Bey rocking a nubby Dsquared2 jacket with studded leggings, spiked leather gloves, platform Louboutins, and a blue Balenciaga bag.
Jay-Z brought up the rear in a low key gray hoodie, dark washed jeans, and a black leather jacket:
There are a lot of colors going on, most notably Beyonce’s bright red lip, which seems to match the bottom of her slick Louboutins. This outfit is quite daring for Bey, but I’m not quite sure it works…

I think she’s wearing too many “edgy” trends at once. Bey never looks right when she tries to follow trends. I think that she should stick to what works for her which are basics; jeans, tee, statement necklace or earrings, and stilettos. She can never fail with that because apparently she just can’t rock the trends right. Still love her though!

I agree with Joy. Beyonce is trying to hard to be edgy. Maybe the outfit would look better if the jack was a solid color. There is just too much going on with this outfit and the orange lipstick doesn’t make it any better.

I like everything…separately. The gloves are hot, but they take away from the awesomeness of the jacket. Honestly I’m a bit over studs and the heels are boring. I would wear those to work.
I’m thinking the jacket with a pair of silk paperbag shorts in black and black tank and a pair of those Rodarte thigh high boots with the wrapping. It’s also trendy but they are still simple. The studs are too distracting. If she wanted to wear those heels I would have worn some jeans but a relaxed fit, I’m over her love of skinnies.
The bag is ridiculous I can’t believe she tried to match it with the jacket.

I agree with everyone that Bey usually looks foolish when she tries to do trends, and the rocker chick/edgy look is a trend she clearly needs to stay away from. This outfit is not good.
1. That blue Balenciaga bag came out of left field, where it should have stayed.
2. Bey’s over-studded. The leggings or gloves alone would have been enough, but not both…not both.
3. The jacket would have been great without the bag, imo. Why that big @$$ bag, Bey? She could have not work a bag at all, and that would have been much more rocker chick/edgy.
4. I would love to see Bey go with a darker color for her hair. I’ve heard that blondes have more fun, but I often think Bey’s hair color choice throws her ‘fits off. #kanyeshrug

Kinda looks like something Rhianna would rock….BETTER, sorry Bey but this is too much. Love all the peices seperately and the best way to wear edgy is to wear one pice and accesorize accordingly.

Its the studded gloves and blue bag that throw this outfit completely over the edge. Take away those two things and she looks great. Too bad…where’s her stylist!??
