It seems our fave first lady recently debuted a new haircut, so fun rag New York Mag decided to take a look at her hairstyles throughout the past year:

They say, “She began with side bangs, grew them out late last year, and now is on to what we’ll call her mom bob because we think it flatters her, and calling it a helmet implies it never moves or blows in the wind or does anything interesting even after the help of heat styling. But it does all of those things!”

I find it oddly refreshing that Michelle is not only acknowledged for her fashion sense, but also her hair styles. Pretty cool.

I agree not loving the new ‘do! She does not have the features to pull it off. Love her with bangs more :)

“She does not have the features to pull it off” wth??? A bob hair style is like the DVF iconic wrap dress, anyone can wear it, it compliments everyone, I get it that some hair styles are not for everyone, e.g. mohawk, clost-shaven head, textured curly natural, locs, mermaid weaves, pixie cuts, sexy-sleek phony pony, but a bob is not one of those hair styles, I mean you can do soo much with a bob instead of the usual curled under style, you can style it with big bodied curls, you can sweep the bangs to the sides, side part bob, middle part bob, etc.

I don’t think it matters how the First Lady’s hair is styled, she is naturally beautiful and she has amazing features to carry off any look.
