Last night musician Jermaine Paul came out with stars Alicia Keys and Melanie Fiona for a Free HD Concert Live from the Apollo in New York.
The muscular singer has clearly been hitting the gym–and should be proud! But a vest without a sleeved shirt underneath for a red carpet, celebrity laced event seems a bit too…casual.
Raheem Devaughn, who was also at the event, had the right idea:

Eww…no. Reminds me of the “drill sergeant” from Maury (don’t judge me lol) who always wears those sleeveless sweater vests. You can wear a form fitting shirt to show off those guns. Sleeveless isn’t necessary or sexy…

Guys just say no..please. There is a time and a place to show of your arms, if the place calls for you to wear a dress shirt than it is clearly not the time!

it looks good on someone who has strong arms, but i prefer the regular shirts WITH sleeves!

I think it looks hot. A tighter fit on the shirt at the waist would help it look dressier. Or, skip the shirt & tie altogether.

I actually like the look. Its different. I do think he needed to tuck his shirt in or wear one or the other. As a guy who sweats allot in the summer i am forced to go sleeveless or stay in ac all day. no amount of deodorant helps and wearing sleeves results in stains or Oder. Yes i have been to the doctor and she says its normal and suggested i shave my underarms. UM im a guy and that is out of the question. I do agree there are times a suit must be worn, but i give him credit for trying to find the new dress shirt/suit. Its boring that the guys only have dress shirts or suits, but the women have way more fashion choices as far as dresses go. Yes i would wear it and am looking for a vest and sleeveless dress shirt
