Melody Thornton and Beyonce don’t normally have similar taste, but overlapped a bit with this figure flattering embellished number:
While Beyonce wore the black version with gold platform pumps and red lipstick for MTV’s Europe Music Awards, Melody opted for white for the American Music Awards and paired hers with black booties, a smoky eye, and nude lipstick.
The dress is indisputably hot, but who wore it better?

I think they both rocked it.
If I were forced to choose, I would go with Melody minus the shoes; it seems to be a better fit.
But again, they both look nice.

I like the dress, but I’m not liking either one of their shoe choices so it kinda ruins their looks for me.

No way!! Melody definitely rocked this one better. She makes the dress look more high fashion. Beyonce looks cute in hers, but she doesn’t look like high fashion material. There isn’t any contrast in what she is wearing, she looks watched out.
I think fashion is about taking risk and being different………. and not trying to coordinate everything to much from head to toe.

Melody, because her look is simple, being that the dress is so loud and embellished. Her sleek back pony tail, with studs and nude lipstick went perfect with the dress. As oppose to B, I love her too, but everything above her neck line is too big; her hair is big, her lipstick is loud, and her earrings are huge. If your going to wear an embellished dress, then everything else needs to be simple. And I’m not feeling neither one of their choice of shoes.
