Sophisticated designer Rachel Roy popped in to the Cinema Society and Entertainment Weekly screening of “The Wrestler” last night at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room:
I’m a sucker for shoe boots and I want to applaud her creativity in refashioning an oversized jacket into a dress. Edginess is always hot, but this look makes me go hmm…

hmmmmmmmmm…hell 2 da naw, dis iz a hott mess…..we all know designers can usually pull off sum wacky looks……but she seems to b and her clothing a lil’ more conservative sexy……dis is simply tacky…..da shoes cant even save her…..

I love R.R. and she can do no wrong in my book. As stunning as she is, she can pull off any look no matter how questionable it may be.

I think the concept was great…just poor execution! The boots are nice and if the jacket/dress was a little more tailored (maybe belted) I think she may have been able to pull it off.

I think this was poor execution as DeeDee said..She could have done a belt to define her waist a couple of brooches something to juice it a little.I get the simple look but its a little too blank

She’s a risk taker. I love this outfit. Mixing high end with low end(Alicie + Olivia Booties for Payless)! She’s BFF with Andre Leon Talley…She has to be different, fashionably.
